I figured I'd post this here where many could read it. I have been informed that Hajimete no Aku has been dropped by Hyena scans. I won't stand for any hating on the group though, as they've been consistantly doing scantlations for nearly three years. We should celebrate their dedication, and respect their decision to part ways with the series. I wish them luck in their future endavors, and hope that perhaps we will meet again someday.

As for me, I know I talked a lot of bullshit about continuing to translate the series until the end, but good lord I can't take the harem anymore. I am firmly against harems and romance in my manga, and while I can mostly accept that people aren't (and shouldn't be) like me, and want romance in their lives and their entertainment, I totally cannot fathom or tolerate harem. I've been translating Aku for nearly three years because the scantlations were timely and the fans happy so I guess I kept taking one for the team out of habit and self gratification. With Hyena scans dropping it, I realize now I'm translating something I don't really care for. I love you guys, but I need to love myself (in a platonic way.) more. I will try to find another translator and or scantlation group to take over, since I do feel bad for leaving you guys hanging...but If no one responds to me, and the fans stay quiet, then my final chapter will be 131, which will wrap up the current arc. It's been a fun ride, and hopefully someone can take the torch after I'm gone.

So the line up is as follows.

Gintama (Weekly) I've been getting early raws, so hopefully this will continue to be a week to week basis sorta thing. 371 will come...someday.

Anagle Mole (Weekly) Fukuchi's new series. Enough said. It will be taking Aku's place. Hopefully I get raws soon~

Tales of failure works (Ended) I want to get back to this. At least maybe I'll finish SOMETHING in my lifetime. (God, I'm such a failure.)

Boku to majyo no jikan: I may have raws of this depending on how things go. If I do, it'll be my one monthly.

Magi & Albatross: Both are getting scans done on a regular basis, which was my intention when I started them. I guess my role in the illegal manga translation community is to light the torch....hopefullly someone gets to Aku.

Again I apologize, but yeah. I suck at being sympathetic.
