With the end of May approaching, that can mean only one thing: Memorial Day...and Ataru's 2010 vacation! Yeah it's earlier than last year but considering where I work, I think it was for the better to do it around Memorial Day as opposed to around the 4th. (trust me on this: with what could happen at the end of June considering whom I work for, I want to be home) So with things about to slow down for a bit, I think it's time for me to get a few updates regarding projects and such:

-First of all, I know the few who read this series (which is a ton compared to...most of my other stuff) are probably going to be upset about it but...Hell Teacher Nube started hiatus back when I did chp. 35. I don't know if I really want to speed too fast through a series that I really like and sort of wanted to concentrate a bit more on the next topic since I had been really lagging for a while on it. While there are some people who probably are going to complain and want me to keep going (in particular anyone who wants me to get to Yukime's next appearance), that won't be back until I return in June.
-As for the lagging comment, that obviously has been going regarding Sakigake! Otokojuku considering how many scripts have been going up. I think that somehow with how Kinnikuman was such high priority until it was finally over and my own obsession with getting Nube a good start, I abandoned Otokojuku and became rusty. And considering that I'm in the midst of the arc that just won't end (this arc lasted three years in Japan...and I'm just reaching the end of year 2 now!), the sooner I get through it the better. I'm trying to aim to get through the fights I have on docket but I can't make any real guarantees...but there will be a few more scripts of this until the break officially starts.
-Another series that isn't "quite" on break yet is Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo. It feels strange that so many wanted me to do this...and when I finally did, no one is really appearing to read it. But I am sort of happy to re-pick it back up...mostly to "get it over with" since there are some really brilliant...and really bone-headed moments with where this phase is going. Expect the current fight to be over before I leave...and a major fight beginning when I get back.
-I actually got asked about this series a few weeks back so it's time to set the record straight: the moment Otokojuku is over...Wingman returns...unless someone else wants it. If anyone wants to ask about the status of my other projects, please do so...
-I'd make another comment about recent events but I think somehow that a bit of it was let out with my "freelance" rant a while back. I will keep going as long as I possibly can, but sometimes do wish there were ways to get the series I really want to do...aside importing them for exorbitant costs or playing lottery at a Japanese bookstore in NYC.
