It's been a while since I've done one of these but with a few situations going on, I sort of want to give a word and maybe a few confirmations regarding situations.

-First of all, the serious news: we all know from what's been going on around us regarding the current evolution of the manga translating trade. After overexposing ourselves, we're forced to dig back underground due to the means by which we ended up getting/doing what we've been. Honestly this just seems like a double-edged blade to me: I do understand why they're doing it considering that, for the most part, we're costing them a fortune and preventing the surprise of reading manga to the Japanese audience. But at the same time this is something that seems like it was brought on them themselves and that's going to cause problems. There are many titles, both old and new, that would never be discovered without these scanslations and it's just going to prevent them from ever being found. Many of these titles, including those I do most likely, just aren't profitable or interesting enough for a mainstream audience or for someone that will make these companies the money they want to make when they got into the manga business. Honestly, this won't stop me from translating manga but at the same time it does make me more cautious regarding what or how I'm going to approach any further manga.

-Next up is a biggie: I'm rapidly approaching my 1000th script on MH! I'd like to thank everyone who has supported me with all of these...and when I reach that milestone, I sort of want to do in commemoration a chapter that personally really needed to be done long ago regarding one of my projects. Let's just say the anime watchers of this project probably are going to know what it is already, particularly when they read it!

-As for the projects as of now, I guess I should list them off regarding current status:
-Both Hell Teacher Nube and Sakigake!! Otokojuku will continue on at the progress that I've given them. Otokojuku in particular worries me considering the project is close to matching my scripts and may just get a translator to keep it going without me but I will finish the series regardless of how the scanslations end up.
-Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo is approaching the half-way mark...which in "full series" count is 88.1%. I sort of want to try to finish Bo-bobo this year and put it behind me but there is interest by some people in me wanting to get to the first 20 chapters I didn't do when I first picked up the project. (the first two volumes for the most part) That is on the backburner and we'll see how I feel once Shinsetsu is over.
-Regarding Kinnikuman likewise I've been getting quite a bit on that. Like Bo-bobo, I don't know if I'll ever get to the Toriyama World chapters (aside the four I already did in vol. 1). Similarly, I may do Kinnikuman Nisei someday, but it would more be for personal satisfaction than to take anything away from Viz.
-I do have a few ideas for what to do after I'm done with current projects. Wingman is always high, but there are a few other series I may need/want to get to, a few of which aren't even on MH's listings yet! (but it's not because they're new, it's because they're old and hardly anyone knows of them)
