Oda said this is the One Piece, it start now, this is the final saga. The story did indeed jump between multiple islands. So this is it.

A Saga is made up of multiple arcs. Egghead being 1 of multiple, Bonney joining at the end of this arc/ end of this arc is definitely not the end of the story. World War, Elbaph and Laugh Tale will be their own arcs too.
