Poor Robin. This would be only a close flight if it were a battle for sexyness. :/ Monet takes this thanks to her logia and robin not showing haki yet.

I still think Robin should have had haki at the beginning of the timeskip. Anyway, Monet takes this as Robin has no method of harming her.

Have to agree that Monet takes this based on what we've seen so far. A pretty match-up for Robin and even worse as it's a one on one.

Monet will definitely exploit the advantage of her Logia nature. Robin could still find a way to utilise fire/heat to damage Monet (similar to how she made preparations to damage Crocodile back in the Alabasta Arc), but based on what we have seen of Monet and her evasive abilities, she is too smart a character to let that tactic defeat her.

Monet is the ultimate victor in this battle.

Robin stayed with Dragon and Sabo for 2 years but not knowing how to use CoA + CoO is wrong, probably Oda thinks a nice woman shouldn't fight, that's a man job or something.

It's not Oda's fault if Robin got pitted against Monet. Just saying.
But yeah I agree Oda should give her a chance to shine. Hopefully in this new arc.
