I still keep my prediction Sakamoto is from MAPPA and it's taking time because they have a bunch of other stuff too :verily
That is a possibility, cause looking on their Wikipedia page and they have 5 series and 2 movies in the works (apparently there was another movie in the works before it was announced it was cancelled in Yuri on Ice [and that was last month]).

So with 28 more issues left before the end of this year, I was wondering everyone’s predictions of what will happen until issue 1 of 2025? I would like to start off first.

-Issue 24: Cycle Biyori (new series)
-Issue 25: Kill Blue (1 year anniversary)
-Issue 26: Nue’s Exorcist (1 year anniversary)
-Issue 27: One Piece
-Issue 28: Sakamoto Days (anime announcement)
-Issue 29: Akane-banashi
-Issue 30: Me & Roboco (4 year anniversary)
You changed your predictions quite a bit:

So I just went to the fandom page of WSJ and from issue's 22-23 to 30, there is nothing. So I want to make a good prediction on what will happen between now and then.

For sure:
-Issue 22-23: Group shot
-Issue 24: New Series, Cycle Biyori

Pretty sure:
-Issue 25: Kill Blue 1 year anniversary
-Issue 26: Nue's Exorcist 1 year anniversary

Educated guess:
-Issue 27: One Piece (obviously)
-Issue 28: Sakamoto Days
-Issue 29: Witch Watch (anime announcement)
-Issue 30: Super Psychic Policeman Chojo

Please share your thoughts and what are your predictions?
Why did you swap the anime announcement prediction from WW to SD? And why did Chojo get pushed back so much lol

Well, originally after our discussion from back then, I felt like SD was a right time for an announcement in the summer mostly cause I can see it as that kind of an announcement. And Witch Watch would take the Fall season in line with October with Halloween and witches and stuff. And for Chojo, going back and forth with it, I felt it would have been way to early for that kind of cover and gave it to Roboco cause I had realized that its anniversary was coming soon. And if Chojo is that popular it would have gotten the cover.

It is never easy to predict when you know for sure what will happen in the month that anniversaries will come like with KB and NE, but everything else afterwards is a real crapshoot.

It may work if it's a manga like Takopi Sweet charadesign and hard message. I don't see how just a slice of life manga about à young boy can really be a hit in 2023.

AFAID 2024 Kagurabachi Stage live tweet thread, if anyone's curious
Apparently they announced an indo simulrelease for mangaplus
Event's over now, and not much was revealed besides the Indo Mangaplus simulrelease.
It was mainly pieces of trivia. Such as who Hokazono would take with him to a deserted island, character hair colors, etc...

One thing I was surprised by though, is he was willing to get up on video call.
That as well as the soft confirmation KGB isn't under threat of the axe anymore.

I feel that edgy manga like that tend to fail in wsj though...

I still think Takehiko Inoue is the most handsome one so far. That jaw. He really aged like a wine.

Hokazono is the Hotest Jump mangaka after Yuto Suzuki ( We don't see him but he is the hotest man all time ).
I am also shocked. I thought he would just turn off camera and have his bird avatar on screen.

Even in interviews he's out on a walk.

Ain’t no way that ShE, an axed manga, has more stock than GGG. Just face it Shinuki, it is a huge flop. Can’t believe they axed Cipher for this.
It's time for wsj to give up on sport manga... (blue Box doesn't count).

I bet on it too, if it's not a U19 then it will get axed regardless

My guy really heard all the complaints about not showing hair colors for Hinao in any color page and said "her hair color is yes"

I honestly have no idea about Cycle Byori, i'm intrigued because the author has a artstyle and vibe totally different from what Jump publishes, but the art and characters doesn't seem to have the appeal like Ruri Dragon to get either the male or fujo audience, so this has to be a really good written and funny slice of life or it will be just dead meat.

We are in need of some winners this year to make up for only 3 from 2023, and I guess only 1 so far this year if we assume Choujo actually is popular and not being pushed for some reason.

Chojo volume 1 is already on Amazon but only the digital version for June releases has a ranking so far, and Chojo ranking is rough:

31,928 / 8,763. Two on Ice #3
31,891 / 8,753. Super Psychic Policeman Chojo #1
28,436 / 7,899. Two on Ice #4
5,221 / 1,453. Mission: Yozakura Family #24
3,718 / 1,059. Kill Blue #5
787 / 204. Blue Box #15
514 / 133. Sakamoto Days #17

Of course this is just the start, it's a month away from release too so, but i did expected better tbh, is doing so well in the Toc and isn't like it's from a unknown author too.

Honestly gag manga tend to have good TOC but very low sales. Feels like something people read and then forget

the main character looks like a famous character we have here in Brazil, recently the author of this work died... so i kind want this manga to do amazingly good, I'm rooting so much for Cycle Byori
