Wind Breaker manga PV

I've been noticing Yuma Uchida is voicing MCs lately for Kodansha titles, i.e Orient, Shangri & now Wind Breaker lol. Also 650,000 copies in circulation.

The series has been growing well and it's a delinquent series, curious if anyone reads this series. I'm thinking of reading it soon

WindBreaker has been growing really well in sales so maybe it can get an announcement next summer

I wonder if Ujiie Tozen was Arakawa assistant, because she's the only author outside the current Magazine line up that made a illustration. Also Hinata Takeshi (Ahiru no Sora) is absent.

Looks like I Contact isn't doing well on Shoseki, is the worst ranked Shonen Magazine release of the month:

#44 > #139

Is quite behind Kenja ga Nakama #2:

#29 > #72

For comparison Kenja #1 sold 8k in 10 days, but vol 2 is performing a lot better on Shoseki so pretty sure it will sell better than vol 1.

Isn't totally unnexpected to me because i was following Amazon pre rankings for I Contact and they were bad, funny thing is that Magazine was hyping the manga in this week issue with color page stating vol 1 was popular, out of stock, published a interview with famous soccer player, so who knows if SM is just playing artificial popularity due to the duo being big names or is indeed low stock issues but so far seems like is flopping.

True but also find weird the manga is underperforming like this, from the raws it looks like a nice soccer manga, but it will have time to grow for sure, Magazine would never quickly axe Kobayashi Shin

It’s hard because they already have a popular soccer series. So maybe people aren’t checking it out because of that?

Its probably the WSM version of Build King having amazing reception after ch1
