Hi and welcome to the thread for news and discussions about Shoujo & Josei manga and magazine!

This is something that i was thinking about for a while, the complete lack of a thread to post news, manga and magazine covers or simply talk about these two manga demographic, if we have threads about Shounen, Seinen and even Kodomo magazines, we should have one for Shoujo and Josei too, at first it was more of a thought but one day @Erinyes talked to me about the idea of opening a thread for Shoujo & Josei because she wanted to post but didn't find any thread, so i decided to create one, it took a bit long but is finally here!

Well, i think everybody knows but still a quickly introduction, Shoujo and Josei are two manga demographic focused in female readers, shoujo like shounen is aimed for young teen girls while Josei like seinen, is aimed for adult/older women.

The OAD is available online, I just watched it, it was released yesterday in various online places.

Totally deserved for Keita Hatsukoi. The first couple chapters had me on the fence, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It has been a super interesting read thus far.

That's some insane sales numbers. I know only a couple of chapters have been translated into English, but it was pretty funny. What exactly caused this explosive response from essentially a newbie author? Was it just one of those cases that a quality work was appreciated right from the get-go?

Edited the first post with the biggest shoujo and josei magazines.

Probably the second option, series just exploded, it's actually not that rare to happen with Josei series, Wotakoi was the same thing, just became a big hit with the 1st volume.

Dude, she ain't no newbie. Her pervious work got ton of awards and critical recognition. It also got translated and licensed in English. And if I didn't already imply, it is pretty good.
