You know, I find it amusing that the character here that closest resembles Yami happens to be William's first rival in this competition. (I mean, the resemblance isn't that great, but it's very low-key there...)

I nominate William Vangeance from Black Clover. I can't help it - I'm a sucker for complicated, sympathetic screw-ups. Plus, his design and magic are pretty interesting. And I reckon he's got the most chill out of all the captains in Black Clover. And the scar on his face? Builds character...
