So is Spinner basically the new Gigantomachia? Like Gigantomachia, he could've received additional quirks to (1) enhance his combat ability; (2) allow him to track down TomurAFO; and (3) be "pre-programmed" to carry out certain orders. Not sure what I'd feel if Spinner somehow shows up to break...
Not really sure how Transmission works, but it looked like Deku used it on himself first(?) Right after he invokes the quirk, he puts his hands together. After that, TomurAFO gets thrown off presumably after getting hit by a speed-enhanced Deku. Then it seems like Deku uses that initial contact...
Can someone pls explain how the sword ended up with Daido?
1) Did Maki throw it to him, instinctively recognizing it could change the course of the battle? This is supported by the text about "a stalemate" and introducing "a new variable" into the fight.
2) Or did the sword somehow jump out of...
Agreed, he's (barely) on the same level but is inferior to Hanami. Kamo then mentions his toughness increases when he speeds up, but we don't know whether that lets him equal or exceed Hanami. The TCB version seems to say that his maximum toughness exceeds Hanami's though.
Good point. Was actually thinking this fight is also symbolic of the next generation of the great sorcerer clans coming into their own in order to prepare for the conflict with Kenjaku.
I only saw the TCB scans, which says Naoya is tougher than Hanami when he's at peak speed but is vulnerable otherwise. In other words, his max durability is still greater than Hanami's.
Wouldn't mind Noritoshi dying, but don't really see the point of another sacrificial death for the sake of Maki. But I also don't understand how Maki defeating Naoya again would advance the plot... perhaps as a way to further showcase her exponential growth and potential value in future fights...
Dabi copying Shoto's technique just like that is definitely an asspull.
Yes, the author did try to establish some precedent by noting that Dabi copied (and improved on) Endeavor's techniques just by observing them. But that was done over the course of years and not literally at the last second...
The shaking part could indicate he's still weak and hasn't fully recovered yet.
And the goo does look like from the warping/teleportation quirk to me. Even if it's supposed to disappear "shortly after" it's been just a few moments since they were warped/teleported there.

How do we know he hasn't completed the transformation? Last time we saw him a few days ago, AFO said his transformation was "progressing smoothly."
Also, I don't understand why people think it's a Shigaraki clone. Is it the mud on his feet? Isn't that just the way the Warping quirk operates?
So it looks like the nomu is still alive (how?!!) and is making its way to Shigaraki.... which means the most likely outcome is that New Order gets passed onto the nomu because otherwise AFO/Shigaraki would lose all their stockpiled quirks.
I wonder what happens to the nomu afterwards? We know...
