Where would you give credit to Spy x Family? The characters and their relationship? The story? The sum of everything?
What makes it that good?
I know it is great, but I didn't expect such thing at all, I cannot explain its success. XD
Also, since the series is all about people keeping...
Given that almost any series in Jump, except some pretty bad ones, even the ones on the chop block sell at least that much or more although being from new authors with almost no advertisement... It did very little.
Reading while standing, Google for 立ち読み, exists.
You guys are understanding my words too literally. What I was trying to say is that ultimately what makes people buy manga is whether they like or not, what they perceive as a quality manga. Advertisement made everybody aware of Samurai 8 existence, it contributed to the sales? No.
There was any substantial increase in the sales after that? The sales I didn't follow, but the TOC I surely followed and I didn't notice any grave peril for Act-Age until now, even during its early months. I don't think the series would die without this promotion like people suggested before...
In what way? Say it to me so that I can understand. Say that someone is contradicting yourself without telling why is not a good argument.
But anyway, I just want to know what was this January Campaign thing, I was not here. I was basically reading and didn't have any interest in news.
An anime is just the content of the manga animated, which reach people that wouldn't heard about it otherwise. However, it relies on the content of the series, if the content is bad, there is no use.
Do you think the series sold all that because of the program and not because of the quality of...

I believe that good mangas don't need advertisement, they themselves are the advertisement. It may take time, but people will eventually realize its value. As for bad manga, no amount of advertisement will make them sell. I just think they overdid in the volumes knowing that the series was not...
Now you are talking as if Kishimoto was like any author? It is easy to say this now that we have the results. I knew that it would happen, although I didn't think it would be that bad. If the magazine treated the series like any other series like I said since the beginning, I think it would have...
One thing I never understood about Haikyuu is why they didn't make a spin-off featuring the female volleyball team. Fear of surpassing the main series in success? :3c
The glimpses we had showed a lot of potential, it is a rare diamond awaiting to be discovered.
He was trying to do something that never worked in the magazine. He just has this audacity because he knows the magazine will never cancel him, not matter how bad it looks. The same cannot be said about the readers, it will affect Jump credibility in the eyes of the readers, they advertised it...
The warnings were dismissed endlessly here, but I don't think the editors are as delusional as you guys here. XD
Experience is worth something when it comes to Jump and manga market.
