I started this thread because I have ran into many people that say girls like yaoi because it's romantic and the whole guy and guy thing is just cute.

The same sex romance depends if the person is ok with it I dismiss the fact that only girls and gay guys like it. If their ok with same sex relationship you can be a straight guy or anyone .

Yaoi in my mind is romance yeah their is alot of sex involved and at times I wonder can they not have sex just once.The romance is what gets me the fact that despite all odds of how society is not comfrontable with the idea of two guys in a relationship

So BL was somewhat a change ...softer romance in a new way

Why do i like yaoi?
Because it isn't as silly as most shoujos i tried to read before, because i like the type of comedy and the "we are both men, this is strange, but good" thing.

Shounen-ai is a bit different, it's usually about those cute scenes between friends that make you dream with more.
