One thing about NIer automata is that it gives very little in ways of tutorial. So to find out things you either have to figure them out by accident or google hoping to find something new. This is something I found AFTER I had beaten the game in its entirety (all 5 endings) and was completing just the joke ones (game has 28 endings).


You. can. fucking. pet. the. pod. And it gets happy. Some of the stuff which the game does not tell you is silly, like petting the pod. Other stuff is long jumps, which is fucking important if you feel like getting every ending.
