Oh I did not put him in the list yet. Guy delisle is a French Canadian author who write slice of life autobiographical comics based on his journey in countries with political issues (euphemism). Contrary to the authors above most of his work are already translated in English. His last comic Chroniques de Jerusalem won the best prize in Angoulême this year.

He will soon start an American tour where he will sign his book, in case you are interested the date and place are available here
