Meh, she's pretty much an ice statue. she gets mad props for protecting his pride in the early chapters but that's about it. And yeah, roasted firetribe coming up shortly. which is hilarious if you think about it. Firetribe barbecued by their own fire.

As for your thoughts on Coiling Dragon. I'm reading it right now and I can see how you might not like it. I definitely don't like it as much as I do Against the Gods. Mainly because, at least at this point, Linely is just not as entertaining or likable as Yun Che. The young man has no libido and is a little too grouchy. I like the story but I just wish it were more "fun". Fortunately the story has got Gramps the BeBe, both of whom are awesome. Hoping for a lot more Yale too. Some harem elements wouldn't hurt either.

Tales of Demon's a Gods is kind of like that too. Though Nie Yi is more prone to having slightly more fun, it's not quite enough. My only complaint about that one is that the main girl, Ye Ziyun, is clearly not the best girl, Xiao Ning'er. That needs to be addressed. He also needs embrace the shotacon oneesan types that want him Huyan Lanruo and Yang Xin. Yun Che would never let those kinds of chances to pass him by,

Agreed 100% on TDG. Nie Yi kinda ticks me off sometimes; he's so aloof it's hard to get into his story. Worse he never struggles. Everything just goes his way. And his persuit of Ye Ziyun is something that would only work in fiction; he's straight up stalker/creeper level obsessed.

Linley is the worst character in coiling dragon. Considering he's the mc; it's just too much to overcome.

Well, the Thrones have arrived! Two of them... and they seem to have taken damage from just deflecting that formation Yun Che threw at the clan.

After all this, one would think that they wouldn't keep underestimating him. They think it'll take 7 days for him to recover. Personally, I would have assumed he would be back today to sneak in and rescue his grandfather. Oh well, we can eagerly await the surprised looks on their faces tomorrow.

I'm still wondering at how much loot he will get from the clan.

Though I'm not sure how he's going to handle these two old guys. He might just have to hit and run(which would sadly mean no pillaging). Though they've lost a lot of firepower now that more than half of their backup is dead and they aren't going to be ready for him to return so soon.

Burning Heaven has completely misunderstood how to handle this situation. You don't try to "out revenge" Yun Che and they still don't realize that. There are really two methods for them to survive this,

Method #1 "Distraction"

- Find the hottest girl in the clan in send her out there to apologize to him and hand over his foster dad and shower him in nice things.

Method #2 "The Gintama method"

Spoiler: If the Elder does this I bet he walks away.

yeah, they just got done admonishing their disciples for their idiot behavior attacking Yun Che, and are shamed to death by the kidnapping, then in the next sentence they declare that Yun Che needs to die and they'll use the kidnapped grandfather to get him?

That whole scene blew my mind in how inconsistent the thought process was. Of course what this is setting up is yun che wrecking havoc on them daily slowly wearing them down/killing them like a plague of death

It made sense to me from their perspective. The old guys would never have resorted to this but the deed is already done. All they can really do is see it to the end now. And "the end" is exactly what's coming for them.

I see it as showing they are all irredeemable. It's too late for forgiveness, but they can earn a few Karma points by freeing Yun Che's grandfather.

I guess it doubles as a mind probe. Not really sure where that ability came from either, though to be perfectly honest I don't really understand what the divine handle is. I may have skimmed some of the bit where he was trapped in the demon hole(not as dirty as it sounds)

I'm betting he will find many other people in there that aren't supposed to see the light of day ever again... but now will!
BHC's crimes will be exposed... but of course, the prisoners have to make it out to report what happened.

So... next chapter, Yun Che kills the guards and frees the prisoners... but then I have a hard time believing the prisoners will have a successful escape. A lot will die in the attempt. They aren't all like Yun Che and invulnerable to fire. I'll bet there is at least 1 unexpected person imprisoned there that Yun Che will escort out besides his grandfather.

Actually, they might be able to free several before the riot starts if they use the guards clothes as disguises.

Next chapter is out and it looks like we'll be getting two chapters a day for the next week! Perfect for the blizzard that just descended on where I live. Woot!

The prison break didn't go quite the way I was expecting but I also wasn't expecting him to troll these grand elders as hard as he did. He stitched a clown suit on both of them and I get the feeling the fun is just beginning.

Yeah, me neither. I wonder if it ever occurred to him to be stealthy in his attack in the prison... he didn't need to create an earthquake when he swatted the guards with Dragonfault did he? Did he ever consider using his fists? Or how about a glare? They'd probably drop dead from that too when they realized who he was.

That move he did against the two grand elders was the same one he used to keep Fen Moli and the 7 other elders searching while he got the Dragon god's gifts. Guess that one surviving elder didn't know what he did either.

I'm half expecting him to send his family off with Little Jie and then keep pounding the Burning Heaven Clan until literally nothing remains. He killed most of them, burned their house down, kidnapped the young master of the clan with intentions of probably doing something terrible to him. Is he done? Or is he just getting started?

Right on target it looks like.
What he really needs to do is to somehow separate the two Thrones and kill off one quickly. If he can do that, the rest won't be so hard. Fighting two thrones at the same time is likely too much for him just yet. In his past life he used the Sky Poison Pearl to kill millions of enemies. That treasure lost that functionality, but he certainly could mix up some and use it. He is immune to poisons after all.
Ah... who am I kidding. He'll swat them like bugs.

Whatever he's going to do it has to involve that young master guy he took right? That guy would be dead if he didn't need him for something and whatever that something is Burning Heaven Clan is not going to like it....not one bit.

How about Yun Che does all the things to him he did at the the beginning of the story to the guy in the Xiao family that poisoned him? That was pretty nasty.

Haha, yeah,,,that's going to be a part of the process probably...

Yun Che hasn't shown off his mean streak in a while but it's definitely going to come out now. Like that time he busted up that "other" Xiao branch family who was pissed because he beat up their young master. He ended up stealing their stuff, crippled the young master guy completely, and set them up to be destroyed by the Xiao Sect. However, since he wants it to be a lesson to others, I think he's going to make this his evil masterpiece.

It really makes you think that when the granny from the Frozen Asgard hears about whatever nasty thing he's about to do she's going to start praying real hard for Little Fairy's health and safety.

Because if she's not ok.....

His immunity to fire is a pretty impressive cheat against this Burning Heaven throne. Almost all of his abilities are fire based. I wonder if he will just stand in Burning Heaven Domain yawn and roast marshmallows.

RIP douchy young master of the Burning Heaven Clan. His fate was well deserved and highly ironic.

I wonder what Yun Che's plan is here. My assumption was that he was trying to split up the thrones and fight them one at a time but now they're both here. That seems like it would be a little much but I'm sure he's got some kind of evil scheme ready for this.
