Seriously, it's been like three months since the last release, I need my fix. I've heard that the longest wait before was like six months, is that true?

ARGH!! Woe is me, I'm sick of re-reading the same old chapters again and again! I really think once a month is far too few for a great manga like this one as is, but wtf is with all the skipped ones?! Seriously, they may as well have another series with an equally lazy mangaka take over, then that guy and Miura tag team once in a while, like that series one month, then berserk gets 2 and so on.

Btw, does anyone know how I can make my sigpic show? I'm starting to think it isn't appearing.

Maybe we could do the following until the next chapter comes out: suggesting series that has some kind of similarity to Berserk. Meaning quality of course, not "it' s fantasy too". :P It' s way better to ease our pain by reading than saying the 537228711044th time "When will it come out? Do you know?"
Even if that' s the goal of this thread.


My suggestion would be Vinland Saga.
Maybe it reminds me of Berserk only because I don' t know of any other mangas that are about the dark middle age and equally excel in story, characterization and art. Some portions of the art in latest chapters are getting close enough to Berserk. (Oh, king Sweyn, what a beautifully drawn man...)
Oh, and it' s of vikings, you' re bound to get some gore. ;P

the longest break in the past 6 years was for about 16 weeks... we're about to hit that mark very soon.

damn you, miura... i expect at least the cover of vol.33 with the release of the new episode.

for Berserk fans try Shamo to sooth yourself... or take an easy read with Bitter Virgin... Elfen Lied and Old Boy are both high on my must read charts as well... I try and forget about the manga for a few months before coming back because I like to avoid these kinds of waits.

yeah, at least that... it`s a good thing that we get to see another volume and what it looks like... thanks for the info... but man, seems like a hell of a lot of time to wait for it!!!!

If you want something new, check the 'movie' (a montage actually, made from the game for ps2) Record of the Evil Holy War. I'll have the english subtitles ready in a couple of days (I'd say 'be patient', but saying that to a Berserk fan is kinda pointless...)

hahaha, berserk should be the picture we look at, when looking at the defintion of patience. (hahaha.. )It is kind of nerve racking for the wait, but it's been worth it. I've just hoping he doesn't take more frequent breaks though. EVen if it does sound greedy, because he does put so much dedication into the art he draws.
