Ajeel was gonna beat Erza. Same Erza who tanked a bloodlusted DeS/PoF punch from Gray. Current Gray isn't even BSS tier and he had Demon Slaying advantage. Skullion = BSS which shouldn't be comparable to Erza at her strongest.

Ajeel's MP is also greater so in a battle of sand versus ash, it'll come down to MP making the difference and Ajeel's eclipses Skullion's. The power of Ajeel's attacks also were by feats marginally greater than Skullion's showings.

I'm going with Ajeel on this one.

Ajeel beat Erza because Erza doesn't have the AOE to deal with his sand shenanigans. Erza has superior stats, and can beat stronger opponents than Ajeel, it depends on situations - if AOE is a necessity, Erza struggles, else she doesn't.
Gray vs Ajeel would've been a more even match because Gray has the AOE to deal with Ajeel.

And finally, x793 characters are a tier or more above x792 characters.
Skullion > x793 Gray >> Ajeel ~ x792 Gray

Ajeel hasn't toyed with or no diffed anyone lmao. He lost to Erza and couldn't even damage Lucy or Gray. I guess that explains why Lissana survived the battle.

They have basically same magic, but Ajeel is much more powerful. So I see nothing where Skullion counters him. Gray was able to freeze his ash. Skullion is all about logia body without stats. Just like spriggans xd, but spriggans are actually powerful. Ajeel can turn his ash to sand. Ajeel can create sand world so Skullion won't even find him and will spend all his mp just to counter sand world. Skullion is a weaker version of Ajeel, just with a bit more haxed magic.

Ajeel is more powerful based on what? I don't see him coming out of a DS Gray Zeroth Sword unscathed, nor do I see Ajeel even having the ability to turn ash to sand or being able to touch Skullion in his ash form, when not even energy attacks from Mira failed to touch him when it landed on him.

Skullion doesn't need to use all his MP to counter sand world though. His casual utter ash was gonna reach to the town (stated by Gray) when they were far off into the sea.

Skullion is more hax, can one shot, has similar AoE (enough to give him comfort in battle), similar stats. Skullion is a better Ajeel in a battle.

What toying he was forced to use his strongest spell Sand World. He did well for the better half because he is counter to Erza's fighting still. As soon as Erza countered him he resorted to the sand world.

Mira was tired as well. So Mira herself was nerfed. She could barely use magic. Only recovered MP barely to beat use BSS to beat Jacob. But more most part of the fight she wasn't even using that. Juliet and Heine were taken out by Algeria her strongest takeover. So by logic since Juliet>Jacob because he was taken out by BSS.
