Ladies and Gentleman, dear Otakus,
welcome to MangaHelpers' new season of the Anime League!​

About

• This league has one purpose and one alone. To crown the best Anime of the season.

Rules

• Every user gets to nominate his top 3 episodes of the week in this thread.
• Nominating day is on Monday. It is possible to nominate before that day, but not after the following Tuesday.
• A week goes from Monday to Sunday. The Nomination day for that whole week is the day AFTER that Sunday. For example: This week goes from Sep 27th to Oct 03rd, 23:59 CET. Voting days for this week would be the 04th and the 05th, 23:59 CET.
• Voting is possible till the weekly ranking has been posted.
• The nominations get counted. The Anime with the most votes in total wins the league.
• There won't be a restriction for Anime which have no threads here
• Only TV shows count (no OVA, no movies, no ONA, no TV specials)
• Pre-airs aren't eligible.
• 10 episodes in total are the bare minimum.
• Shows with irregular airing will be dealt with accordingly.
• The nominations for all shows will count as if they all had the same amount of episodes during this season. Shows with just 10, 11 or 12 episodes will get additional points based on the average they got so far to make it even.
• A show which is longer than one cour is eligible for the season until this season ends or reaches 13 episodes. Whichever comes first.

Results

• We will post an updated table each week to keep you updated about which Anime is leading so far.
• Every user who voted for the winning Anime has the chance to win a badge at the end of the year. So keep on nominating!
• A weekly ranking of the participating users will be shown as well!

Extra

• You are free to add up to three honorable mentions with your weekly votes.
• A Honorable Mentions table will be posted during week 6 and 13
• Please highlight your honorable mentions clearly and differently from your weekly votes.

Only show I ve watched this week, and I enjoyed the 1st episode it's an interesting combination of cuteness and spookiness. I liked Miko's reactions and how shes pretending not to see the ghosts/spirits when she sees them. her mother is gorgeous The creepiest scene was the ghost in the bed. will probably keep watching this if quality doesnt drop. 1st episode was pretty engaging ! (that show came on point for halloween season )

Otherwise, many animes are sequels from other seasons i already missed, i dont think anything else is interesting to me so far, except maybe Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi since I have it in my to-read-list for months, but it could easily be a miss. and I might give a try to that Komi-san everyone is talking about maybe Blue period too, i ve started the manga some months ago. But i doubt i can keep up with more than 2 series.


edit : Oh does Heike Monogatari count as a Fall season anime ?

Fena: The Pirate Princess- Imo, this will be the best fall show this season. Kind of sad it started right in the middle of another anime season, but I really hope it lasts more than 12 episodes. 25 episode run will be awesome for the series.

Heike Monogatari - Really good series so far! Enjoying this immensely! (this weeks episode was ep3)

Mushoku Tensei - Yay! It's back! Not really my favourite part but still good!
Megaton-kyuu Musashi - Not translated or licensed, but pretty good anyway. standard mecha shounen
Mieruko-chan - creepy, but good stage setting. Assuming she will be able to deal with this somehow.

Heike Monogatari - Really good series so far! Enjoying this immensely! (this weeks episode was ep3)

Yeah that's why I was wondering if it counts as Fall season, I ve watched only 2 episodes so far and enjoyed it a lot. I love the visuals the animation style. Animation and artistic direction are top notch, so far, and the story is gloomy but beautiful, for now. I absolutely wanted to watch that adaptation from classical Japanese litterature* but I thought it was supposed to be aired later.

Mieruko-chan. Like last week, some creepy moments and that incredibly adorable kitty part, so she can see angelic spirits too ? I'm curious how and when she started to see those creatures, but I admire how composed she looks from outside, at least and her reactions, whenever one appears.

Heike Monogatari, so far, solid show, great animation, hopefully quality wont drop.

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai, I enjoyed the 1st episode, it was fun, and it had some nice/adorable moments, I tend to like work setting for romances. This anime gives me somehow Ore monogatari vibes, Takeda, is so so nice, i wish i had such adorable co workers. I hope it will keep on being enjoyable.
