Ladies and Gentleman, dear Otakus,
welcome to MangaHelpers' new season of the Anime League!​

About

• This league has one purpose and one alone. To crown the best Anime of the season.

Rules

• Every user gets to nominate his top 3 episodes of the week in this thread.
• Nominating day is on Monday. It is possible to nominate before that day, but not after the following Tuesday.
• A week goes from Monday to Sunday. The Nomination day for that whole week is the day AFTER that Sunday. For example: This week goes from Mar 28th to Apr 03rd, 23:59 CET. Voting days for this week would be the 04th and the 05th, 23:59 CET.
• Voting is possible till the weekly ranking has been posted.
• The nominations get counted. The Anime with the most votes in total wins the league.
• There won't be a restriction for Anime which have no threads here
• Only TV shows count (no OVA, no movies, no ONA, no TV specials)
• Pre-airs aren't eligible.
• 10 episodes in total are the bare minimum.
• Shows with irregular airing will be dealt with accordingly.
• The nominations for all shows will count as if they all had the same amount of episodes during this season. Shows with just 10, 11 or 12 episodes will get additional points based on the average they got so far to make it even.
• A show which is longer than one cour is eligible for the season until this season ends or reaches 13 episodes. Whichever comes first.

Results

• We will post an updated table each week to keep you updated about which Anime is leading so far.
• Every user who voted for the winning Anime has the chance to win a badge at the end of the year. So keep on nominating!
• A weekly ranking of the participating users will be shown as well!

Extra

• You are free to add up to three honorable mentions with your weekly votes.
• A Honorable Mentions table will be posted during week 6 and 13
• Please highlight your honorable mentions clearly and differently from your weekly votes.

First week of Spring is here!

Aharen-san wa Hakarenai - This one is great actually! Kinda similar to Uzaki-chan… just without the sugoi dekai trademark… and she's really quiet.
Paripi Koumei - This was pretty good actually! Kudos to the yakuza bar owner! He's a great guy!
Otome Game Sekai wa Mob ni Kibishii Sekai desu - Pretty good so far.

Spoiler: Honorable Mentions

Shokei Shoujo no Virgin Road - Subverts the Isekai genre... People isekai'd to this world get hunted down... with extreme prejudice. It kinda made me mad though. Why aren't they hunting down the summoners?

Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall - Took a while to find this... it's actually on Disney+... in Japan. We won't get it till after it's finished airing there. I saw the raw, and it's pretty good actually. It's cg heavy but not unbearably so. Surprised this is on Disney at all though since there is a lot of machine vs human combat and the humans lose... a lot. messily so.
It might be a challenge to get to watch this subbed.

I'm pretty sure this is how Summer Time Render will be handled on Disney too.

Paripi Koumei - This was pretty good actually! Kudos to the yakuza bar owner! He's a great guy!

That ! I only watched Paripi, and I liked it, it was funny, pretty solid start. Love the concept of that kind of "Kingdom" startegist revived in modern world ! his reaction when reading his wiki page or to smartphones was hilarious Hopefully it lived up to my expectations.

Spring season started yesterday for me. I only watched Shield Hero and will probably watch Deaimon.

Finally got around to doing up my schedule for the new season!
red/pink are finale's and green are premieres.

You'll notice that with funimation moving over to Crunchyroll there are a lot of shows that are getting released on other platforms, like Netflix, HiDive and ... Disney+! I was looking that that and saying to myself, I hope Disney releases weekly, since if you thought it was hard to get fansubs of Netflix shows, I can't imagine doing that for Disney would be any easier.

Lucky I have subscriptions to all of those platforms.

This season has a LOT of good shows... gonna be tough to drop any.
