Ladies and Gentleman, dear Otakus,
welcome to MangaHelpers' new season of the Anime League!​

It's been five years already since we started this thing. Time to celebrate a bit!
There might me some fun facts each week about the league during this season. Look forward to it!

About

• This league has one purpose and one alone. To crown the best Anime of the season.

Rules

• Every user gets to nominate his top 3 episodes of the week in this thread.
• Nominating day is on Monday. It is possible to nominate before that day, but not after the following Tuesday.
• A week goes from Monday to Sunday. The Nomination day for that whole week is the day AFTER that Sunday. For example: This week goes from Jan 03rd to Jan 09th, 23:59 CET. Voting days for this week would be the 10th and the 11th, 23:59 CET.
• Voting is possible till the weekly ranking has been posted.
• The nominations get counted. The Anime with the most votes in total wins the league.
• There won't be a restriction for Anime which have no threads here
• Only TV shows count (no OVA, no movies, no ONA, no TV specials)
• Pre-airs aren't eligible.
• 10 episodes in total are the bare minimum.
• Shows with irregular airing will be dealt with accordingly.
• The nominations for all shows will count as if they all had the same amount of episodes during this season. Shows with just 10, 11 or 12 episodes will get additional points based on the average they got so far to make it even.
• A show which is longer than one cour is eligible for the season until this season ends or reaches 13 episodes. Whichever comes first.

Results

• We will post an updated table each week to keep you updated about which Anime is leading so far.
• Every user who voted for the winning Anime has the chance to win a badge at the end of the year. So keep on nominating!
• A weekly ranking of the participating users will be shown as well!

Extra

• You are free to add up to three honorable mentions with your weekly votes.
• A Honorable Mentions table will be posted during week 6 and 13
• Please highlight your honorable mentions clearly and differently from your weekly votes.

sticked to my initial plan, and watched the only ones I wanted to watch.

No specific order :

- Ousama ranking : Some interesting things happening, loved the despa horse joke lol ! that opening, the Hilling and Boji moment was touching

- Takagi san - I like they started where they left last time enjoyed it !

- Sono bisque : Nice start, wanted to give the manga a try, but my legendary procrastination skills prevented me to, so time to check it via its adaptation, 1st episode was good, I like Marin personality so far ! Hopefully, quality won't drop !

I watched only those so far, those that i intended from the start, I probably won't catch up Snk now and i ll try to check feedbacks on one or 2 other animes, if they seem good enough I might give them a try, but 3 weekly, is more than enough for now.

Karakai Jouzu to Takagi-san 3 - I missed this show so much I got another streaming service just for this.
Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru - One of the cutest girls this season!
Kimetsu no Yaiba - Awesome! Just totally Awesome! did I mention it was awesome!?

Tokyo 24-ku - Interesting so far! This first episode was 1hr. It went by so fast it felt like a regular episode.
Leadale no Daichi nite - Pervert blocker!
Hakozume:Koban Joshi no Gyakushuu - I thought Japanese people were polite… swearing at the police 'before' you drive away is rude… not to mention stupid.
SLOW LOOP - Cute girls go fishing
Shikkakumon no Saikyou Kenja - I was looking forward to it... but they left a lot of backstory out
World Trigger 3rd Season - Technically from the Fall season, but only 2 eps left. It was great this week! Looking forward to the last ep!

Shuumatsu no Harem - I've seen hen-tai with better plots... and better censoring
Sabiiro no Armor -Reimei- - ewwww... the cgi is... icky
Baraou no Souretsu - please leave the Shakespeare to Shakespeare

Leadale no Daichi nite - This was highly enjoyable. It's like a comedic version of Overlord, sort of.

Tensai Ouji no Akaji Kokka Saisei Jutsu - This show's first episode didn't suck. And I appreciate that about it. Especially this season. It also showed a big strategic battle without completely falling apart and showing a bunch of CG ken dolls. I definitely appreciate that.

It's been five whole years since we started this. Isn't that amazing?! I know this season seems... subpar at best so every season this year is a birthday season here at MangaHelpers! Wohoo! At least some characters decided to doll up. Eh?

Let's use this opportunity for some fun facts:
Fun Fact #1:
On the banner are Megumin and Bakugou. One reason being that both represent explosions and are perfect for celebratory fireworks and more importantly, they represent the first two winners we ever crowned here. Megumin being the first one to take the crown. As usual, Bakugou is just #2. =)

Fun Fact #2:
When we first started, MH users who won the league were still awarded with a badge seasonally. The first user to ever get rewarded with that badge was our beloved @Nii.
