Clumsily made the avatar I have now in MSPaint, going for sort of One Piece-style pirate flag with crossed barley.
Got someone on fiverr to redo it competently and got this:
Definitely more competently done, but I'm not sure I like it as much. I think what gets me most is that the cheek bones are "empty."
Thoughts? Am I just too used to the old one to appreciate how much better this one is?
