I never read the CG manga series, so I can't say whether it's good, bad or even faithful to the anime. Even the nomination post shows me an - what I think - anime poster, while the nomination post for Azumanga made me laugh. Since there is no campaign here, I have only the nomination posts to base my decision on.

It was one of the most popular mangas/animes a decade ago. It's a cute slice-of-life/comedy about a group of high school girls with little fan-service, though, there's a perverted teacher named Kimura who's a comic relief of some sort:

This is Sasaki who, despite how serious she looks, is probably the biggest cinnamon roll in the manga who loves cats and cute things:
