One thing to note, you are talking about "destroying" universes when they are just relative ones, concepts that take shape in the gameboard. That and actual universes are very different things. A sword made of truths... its a conceptual approach to the battles.

Those abilities you speak of are not his.
This is not Battler + Beato and Ange vs Nora, its Battler alone vs Nora.

This also isnt as the case of Illya, whose "powers" are sentient (kind of, dont know the entire story) but they are ultimately her powers.
Battler is a completely different entity separated from the Witches and he isnt even allowed to exist in the plain you speak of if they dont let him in the first place. Battler himself is a mere human whose own skills amount to... being smart.

I haven't played the VN,only the manga but yeah from what I saw in different forums none of them made the argument like you are saying.

(Maybe I made a mistake,should have gone with Dies Irae characters which I am more familiar with rather than Umineko where I haven't played the VN)

This thread cracked me up. Anyways, I know neither of the two characters here(and the series they come from for that matter), but I'd like to vote Nora. She seems nice.

From what I've read, I suppose both here are just your average beings.(no powers/abilities)

Yes.

You may think that doesn’t look impressive
but there is no logical progression to Nora’a powers. If she needs superior physical strength she has it. If she needs telekinesis she has it. Nora only seems like she is in trouble or hurt just so the audience can cheer her on even more which sooner or later includes the villains because she is Nora friggin Scholar.
