Jujutsu Kaisen: MAPPA took the manga and raised it to another level with that polishing and the amazing animation during fight scenes. Those domain expansions certainly are a real beauty. I'm not saying the manga looks bad though.

Ousama Ranking: A completely different style that has its own charm. WIT did an amazing job animating this series. Just look at the manga as a comparison.

86: Probably my favourite. To turn a light novel into an animation as clean as a hound's tooth which, according to many people online (I haven't read it, but I guess @Arjuna can confirm), is also extremely faithful to its original source is purely amazing. Not to forget the CGI which is so well blended that I never realized it existed until I read some comments stating how good it was.
Hell, the author even cried watching one of the episodes (granted it was an episode that aired in 2022, but the series is considered to be a 2021 anime), that's just how good this adaptation is

Definitely Mushoku Tensei for me. Especially when you are used to see LNs being adapted so poorly.

The production value definitely went up. I've watched some episodes and you can appreciate the work the studio has done. Some scenes are waaaaaaaay over the top as well

Odd Taxi isnt an adaptation though? The manga started like few months before the anime - just based on the same script.

So the manga in this case would be adaptation.
