Mushishi is better than its manga, and the manga is already amazing.

Same with Ping Pong the Animation.
It’s still a wonder to me that they took a manga with such a unique, eclectic art style and made it work EVEN BETTER in animated form. The soundtrack was a contender for the OST category for me as well. Not just the best sports anime ever, it’s better than the majority of non-sports anime I’ve seen.

Mob Psycho 100 is my third pick.


Monster and FMA:B are up there but already will make it through I bet

I don't know the source material of Fate.

SnK - I prefer the manga but the anime is good too.

HxH - the manga is very good but prefer voice-over to text walls, lol. And yea the anime is legendary.

I really don't know anything about Fate. Tried some anime of it years ago, but didn't click with me. I did feel tempted to vote it for though, since adapting a visual novel probably need more creative adapting that doing a manga.

SnK did good job. Especially in making the series even more mainstream approachable without losing completely the rough kinda artsy look of the original.

Went with HxH. There are some changes I didn't like (mostly related to the order of showing things), but mostly it did a great job adapting the story. Especial kudos for making Chimaera Ant and Election Arcs work despite the fact that they were really text heavy pieces of comic art.
