Re: Zero was a bit of a divisive anime from the standpoint that it kinda walks that line of having too much drama or not being impactful enough because of the redo mechanic of the series. To me though this series was very nicely animated, provided some very interesting psychological thought processes when viewed from the Mc's perspective, solid villain, and finally really brought the feels at points. It was by no means perfect but i would say it was a very good anime (8.0).

Mob Psycho was a strong anime from start to finish. I knew i would enjoy it quite a bit considering i view OPM as a straight masterpiece and it's by the same author, but it really does have it's own unique vibe that differentiates it from his other work. While i don't think it's as good OPM, it still provides tons of laughs and some really strong fight scenes.

Konosuba is an anime i JUST finished like a day or two ago (i know i am late to the party ). I really went into it knowing it followed a certain cliche but by the end it had a very different feel from what i expected. Throughout it's run it did not take itself too seriously or shove romance down my throat, it simply stuck to a very comedic tone and style that really won me over. I really enjoyed all 4 of the main characters and i look forward to season 2 starting in a few days.

Wow, what a tough group. All 3 of my nominations and only 1 vote. For me it comes down to KonoSuba and Re:Zero.

In the end I'm going KonoSuba because I think it's one of the all-time funniest anime I've seen. And because Re:Zero had that really bad 3-4 episode stretch in the middle of what was otherwise an amazingly good series. If it wasn't for that I'd probably go Re:Zero.
