The chimera ants have both frightened and charmed us since their appearance in the series, and have played a role in one of the most controversial and emotional arcs thus far. Out of these flesh-eating, diverse creatures, who do you believe is the best ant throughout the series. This could be friend or foe, royal guard or soldier ant--in either case, this is an ant who has impacted the series and won the hearts of HxH fans everywhere.

I support nominations for Meleoron, Ikalgo, and Meryem.

I enjoy Meleoron's overall demeanor and witnessing his growing bond with Gon was wonderful.

Ikalgo seriously won me over during his fight with Killua, and the anime probably had something do with it. Squids are squidderific.

I just really enjoyed his development, especially the way Komugi managed to humanize him.

She/he (i'm still not sure of her gender) does kill kite and pokkle but for some reason i like her.

1. Meruem

At first he strikely looks similar to Cell. But he is way more multidimensional character than cell.
Initially seen as a cruel and violent leader, merciless, killing and cannibalizing any Chimera Ant he deems as disrespectful.
But, Later he battles with his identity as a half-human and half-insect, questioning the nature of violence and strength as true power.
Even with all the power he holds, he somewhat values all the life-form.

2. Neferpitou

The first of three Royal Guards born for the Chimera Ant King.
Extremely loyal willing to sacrifice himself for the King

3. Chimera Ant Queen

Without her we wouldn't had this awesome arc.
