Chapter 65 - Fairy Law
No debate her. One of the best chapters in FT period.

Chapter 65 gets my vote. Was part another masterpiece battle of natsu & gajeel vs laxus.

Mystogan hype was crazy, and Makarov vs Jose was fantastic, it really made it clear just how far above everyone else the Wizard Saints were IMO.

All of the three nominees in the semifinals 2 are amazing chapters, but im voting for my nominee Chapter 253 Lets join hands. This chapter was really something else, Acno vs FT, plus one of the most surprising moments in FT period, Acno obliterating Tenrou and a 7 year timeskip with the FT main mages nowhere to be found.

Chapter 384 was great lucy was at her pinnacle of her character right here. Chapter 253 is equally good but 384 has emotional weightage [lus lucy is one of my favs too.

That panel of Gildarts standing in his unleashed Magic Power and his "fear isn't evil" quote are two of my favourite things in FT.

384, Lucy was a sheer badass here, for once Mashima remembered that Lucy's badassness doesn't need to go hand in hand with fanservice.

chapter 65 of course when MAKAROV used to be the GOAT!!! every1 hype makarov to be the top tier mage in ishgar my man mid diff jose and told him to KNEEL too badass!!! plus my fav character is his GRANDPA!!! ahhh good time!! when FT was sooo good and it showed magic spells circles!!!

384 was a decent chapter, especially in Tartarus arc where there were only a handful. Was sad with Lucy, and epic with CSK.

But chapter 65 was, at least for me, prime FT. Capped a great arc with Mystogan eating apples after soloing PL branches... and Makarov going full badass with Fairy Law.

As @Brandish said, 384 is awesome, but 65 is the prime and peak. I may be one of the few who read FT before watching, and when i read 65 Fairy Law, it was hype AF, best chapter thus far, it was just that good. Some people may find it a bit less awesome cuz they are probably basing it on anime only (cuz they didnt read the chapter in the first place), but for me the manga version was way more epic, with Makarov even going Titan before casting Fairy Law. And not to mentione Mystogan.

384 made Lucy shine from being in the background for 387 chapters. She proved she was badass.

384 is one of the chapters where Lucy had finally truly shined with plus the feels when she broke Aquarius key. So it got my vote
