Award Format

The event will consist of two phases: a nomination phase and a voting phase. Between those two phases, there will be three days break for administrative reasons.

Nomination Phase (January 19th-28st, 2014): The community makes their nominations in the category threads. If a series has already been nominated before, a member is allowed to support that nomination to build up hype and campaign for that nomination.

Break (January 28st-30th, 2014): Administrative reasons, preparation of the next phase.

Voting Phase (January 30th-February 6th, 2014): A poll is created from all nominations. Every member will be able to campaign for specific series and cast vote(s) to support those series.

Nomination Info - "How to Nominate"

You may nominate up to three (3) series in each category. However, during the nomination phase, you can change your nomination if you want to nominate another title.

For the nomination phase to run smoothly and to avoid situations where nominations weren't counted by accident, please state your nominations clearly. It is preferable to highlight the nominated candidate with bolded red text. Example:

"I nominate Highlander for greatest movie ever." ~ Ricky Bobby

Voting Info - "How to Vote"

Once the nomination round is over and the polls are made, the voting round begins. Please keep in mind that a vote is final. Discuss your opinion and think it through before voting. Choose wisely, because we won't change the votes if you reconsider later on.

Androssi Zahard

Androssi is character who has stolen reader's attention from the moment she was introduced. She's the product of minor noble family's desperate attempt to find a girl capable of being a Princess of Zahard. Having been raised in a"strong eat and the weak are eaten" atmosphere, she often acts with calculated and unapologetic ruthlessness all the while maintaining her own endearing brand of cheerful narcissism. Her emotional depth, strength, and style make her one of the most interesting characters to read about and our favorite female character.

I nominate "Queen" from Girls of the Wild's - she's quite someone
But yea. lets also not forget "Iremi" from Magician - dont make her angry.. no no she wont turn into "She-Hulk".. but it doesn't matter.. she will smash you^^
Last but not least... "Hwa Ryun" from Tower of God - mystery female nr. 1^^

I support "Queen" from Girls of the wild's. She is the main (only) reason to keep reading this for me. An icy beautiful queen with an hidden kindness & trapped within her own duty & to top it all: the strongest character by a large margin. Yep, she got it all.

And it's hard to chose only one from tower of god ... I'll go with Androssi, the powerful & arrogant princess.

For my third nomination, I take the youngest clan leader from Noblesse. The classiest women on earth: SEIRA

Androssi Zahard from Tower of God

She's one of my favorite characters of all time. Powerful, ruthless, and egotistical while also lonely and gives off a sense of longing for a type of connection to family, friends, and kindness that she's not sure she believes in.

Sera Kang from The Breaker NW's

One of the best Kuudere characters ever. Underneath an icy cold and analytical exterior she is as adorable as a kitten with especially big eyes. And her relationship to Shioon is one of the driving forces behind the Breaker NW's for me.

And though it's hard to decide on a third I'm going with.

Dal Dal from Girls of Wild's

A spectacularly catlike martial artist. Who is an exceptional cook and puts a lot of effort into cultivating her adorable appearance. What puts her on my list though is how self aware and manipulative she is about using her talents and style in her attempts to woo, the object of her affections, Jaegu. Despite her cutesie facade, she's also extremely strong and reacts with hilariously sudden overwhelming violence whenever her love is threatened.

This is a difficult category for me. I don't know whom to choose, there are too many great female characters. If this would be about female characters in mangas, I could barely name one, lol.

The everlasting glory of Zahard! Enough said!

Sera Kang - The Breaker New Waves:
She is the real deal in the Murim world. Totally love her personality and attitude. Even Elder Kwon commented on how lucky they were, that she is not their enemy. There is no better praise than this.

Seira J. Loyard - Noblesse:
It's always great to see how convincing she acts (and fights) as a Clan Leader. She is also very gorgeous by the way.

Sad that no one nominated Rachel from ToG And I fail to understand why people hate her? She is one of the few relaistic character in a survival manga. In real world kindness is not so common, and using others for own goal is the truth. Rachel hence deserve love.
