This is the category to decide on the best fight sequence in a manhwa series. Which battle managed to get the adrenaline pumping and keep you on the edge of your seat? It can just be a fight between two individuals or it can even be a free-for-all.

Award Format

The event will consist of two phases: a nomination phase and a voting phase. Between those two phases, there will be three days break for administrative reasons.

Nomination Phase (January 19th-28st, 2014): The community makes their nominations in the category threads. If a series has already been nominated before, a member is allowed to support that nomination to build up hype and campaign for that nomination.

Break (January 28st-30th, 2014): Administrative reasons, preparation of the next phase.

Voting Phase (January 30th-February 6th, 2014): A poll is created from all nominations. Every member will be able to campaign for specific series and cast vote(s) to support those series.

Nomination Info - "How to Nominate"

You may nominate up to three (3) series in each category. However, during the nomination phase, you can change your nomination if you want to nominate another title.

For the nomination phase to run smoothly and to avoid situations where nominations weren't counted by accident, please state your nominations clearly. It is preferable to highlight the nominated candidate with bolded red text. Example:

"I nominate Highlander for greatest movie ever." ~ Ricky Bobby

Voting Info - "How to Vote"

Once the nomination round is over and the polls are made, the voting round begins. Please keep in mind that a vote is final. Discuss your opinion and think it through before voting. Choose wisely, because we won't change the votes if you reconsider later on.

Cadis Etrama Di Raizel VS Muzaka

The most epic battle in all of Noblesse. The strongest Vampire, Rai, versus the strongest Werewolf, Muzaka. A bloody landscape obliterating battle that forced Rai to go to his limits and beyond with lasting consequences for the series as a whole.

The manwha with the best fighting scenes is for me Breaker new waves by far.
I nominate "phantom surgeon Ju Sang-Si" vs "Shi-Woon Yi ".. We were waiting for so long to see a decent fight with Shi-woon & that one didn't disappoint.

To me, the best fight sequences belong to Ares. From the many of it, I'd pick Michael vs Carnival, and Ares vs Signus. Also Yuk Geom vs Gil Do from Living with One Leg is just a super duel.

Even though very recent and looks like it came to an end, I support one of the best fights in the series between Rai and Muzaka from Noblesse. It was a bloody massacre.

Ran Koon vs. Anak Zahard - Plug Game - Tower of God:
Except for the very bad ending, this battle was a real highlight. Ran pretty much schooled Anak skill-wise and displayed one hell of a show with his amazing techniques. We need more these kind of battles, even though I'm aware of that ToG isn't about one on one battles.

Chun Woo Han vs. Martial Arts Alliance - The Breaker:
This is self-explanatory.

Jae-Kyu Kwon vs. SUC - The Breaker New Waves:
If I recall, it was the first time we were introduced to the "Ten Grand Masters of the Murim" and it was also the first time we got a glimpse of the true strength of the Sunwoo Clan. That Jae-Gal was given a run for his money put the cherry on the cake. Badass panels by the way -> #1 - #2 - #3 - #4 - #5 - #6

Enzu/Matthew/Iremi vs Shadow. By quite a bit, I think. Suspenseful, well-drawn, and plot-driven. A variety of plot elements came together amazingly well, with the added benefit of having a cool fight.
