Ao no Exoricist - Rin vs. the Impure King
This fight was chock full of drama, action, and the ending was one of the most heartwarming things I've ever seen.

Sket Dance - Bossun vs. Tsune and his gang
After 200+ chapters, Bossun gets dangerous. Hunting slingshot FTW!

Hana and Tanishi vs. Ryu Ando(and group of punks) during chapters 69-80 of Boys on the Run. It was both hilarious and epic.

Naruto
Naruto vs Pain- The Vincent Van Gogh of shounen fights for me. It has it all, resolve fueled drama, flashy super powerful moves, and ups and down..even the ending was solid.

Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru
Kohinata Minoru vs Hamada Kaoru- Every fight scene in this manga is brilliant, and this is the best so far as the scanelations currently go.

Meruem vs Netero...a fight showing the diversity and complexity of the HxH world, and sort of injecting the idea of old school vs tech for me...

2nd nomination: Berserk

Wyald vs Gutts...first testament of Gutts' strength after leaving the Band...the circumstances surrounding the fight add to it's greatness too...

3rd nomination: Noblesse

Frankenstein vs Rajak Kertia....one of the best illustrated fights in the manga, and the most badass IMO, plus one of the most revealing in terms of info of the plot...

• Natsu vs. Sting and Rogue from Fairy Tail. Because I was waiting for YEARS that Natsu again dominated a fight like that.

This is by far one of the most captivating fighting manga I've read. The fights are great, and the underlying story that surrounds them makes them all that much better. There's not a lot to say here, I simply have great admiration for this.

Best Fight: Kojiro vs. Koun

Gamaran
I found an appreciation for this manga early on. I felt a certain sense of excitement from watching Gama become that prodigy swordsman, and it was full of amazing battles to boot. I'm really excited to see the finale between him and his father.

Best Fight: I can't really pick, this entire manga is just fight packed.

Karate Shoukoushi Kohinata Minoru
I've recently read this manga, and I have to say. The first time I read it was a while back, and I didn't catch a taste for it at first. After browsing for new manga, I found this again and didn't remember it. I started reading, and a ways in it dawned on me that I have read it before. The second time hooked me in, the fighting in this is downright awesome. The sense of excitement I get from these fights is great, one reason being because the outcomes aren't easy to predict.

And I add the War of the North in Claymore, because it was a desperate situation for all the Claymores, 24 Claymores vs. 30 ABs whose powers were all above average not to mention former N.1 Isely of the North himself backed up by Rigardo N.2 from his time.. The deaths were sad and the story reached a golden age at that time.

Teresa vs. Irena, Sophia, Noel and Priscilla(from the very start till Teresa's death) from Claymore, because this was one of the most shocking and emotional, powerful fights ever. Not because it's about survival but because Teresa was fighting for what she believes in at last and the problem is that Priscilla was doing the same as well.. A beautiful, elegant, powerful and bloody fight.
