Age seal. It took a another time mage and the strongest demon ever created to counter her hax magic.

But nobody ever countered U1.... also besides Ultear and END, it is implied August could have copied it and Acno could have ate it and Zeref could have canceled it.

Irene had to die to undo U1.... Acno couldn't even eat it because it was an enchantment. Zeref couldn't undo it. And it single handedly changed the war.

I'll vote for Age Seal.

By far, that spell was the most impressive in the last arc. Not to mention, it was casted by the one and only Dimaria Yesta. Also known as the best Spriggan in Alvarez. Overall, I really liked the way the spell was used throughout the Alvarez Arc, and I especially enjoyed seeing Ultear return to have a Time Duel.


The spell is so great that it even managed to affect my signature on MH. I can't change it because Dimaria Age Seal'd it after the FT tournament.

Went with Universe One, this is legit BFR on steroids
Plus it legit affected people who are even stronger than Irene (Zeref and Acnologia). Definitely one of the highlights of the last arc.

Voted for Eternal Flare.

I actually think this spell will look cooler in the anime. As for Universe One and Age Seal, they are definitely unique but I just don't think they're on the same level as Eternal Flare.

As much as i like Sema or even Urano Metria, ill go with Rough Silk. The spell can drop many strong characters at point blank range. I actually dont remember if the spell ever failed to take down an oponnent to be honest.

I'm going with WSD Rough Silk too. Great as a solo or duo attack. It seems rather unique as a DSM move as well.

Sema was an epic nuke though. One of the best parts in Tartaros arc.

I would love to give Lucy some love, and that category would be perfect for that since Urano Metria is a great spell... But sadly, i just prefer the other two :/

I nominated Sema because this is an awesome spell, the hype is real everytime that thing is casted. When it was introduced during GMG everyone was in awe, holding its breath, and the mystery remained due to Ultear and Meredy. When finally it was revealed during Tartaros, the spell was shockingly incredible. Plus, i personally like the casting movements Jellal has to make. Even without knowing what it is about, when Jellal does that movement you know the goose is cooked.

BUT WSD Rough Silk tho.
One of the best spell designs, very creative, deadly as fuck, and dual elements usually are great to witness.

Unfortunately for Sema, i'm going to vote for WSD Rough Silk here.

I find it funny that these three spells were used 3 times in series. Not four times like Fairy glitter or 4.5 times like Fairy law. Or twice like Fairy glitter. Or once like countless villains spells or side character attacks. Or overused like countless roars and secret art attacks.

Sema used twice by Jellal and once by Irene.

Silk used by Future Rogue, Sting and Rogue, and then Sting.

Urano metria was used three times by Lucy.

Voted for White Shadow Dragon's Rough Silk.

Of the three spells, I would place Sema at the bottom. It definitely had a lot of hype, but it wasn't as unique as his other spells. Next would be Urano Metria which not only looked cool but was also very powerful. But ultimately, I decided to go with White Shadow Dragon's Rough Silk just because of its animation. Both times it was used looked amazing (especially Future Rogue) so I hope the anime will make Sting's version just as great.

While sema looks visually impressive.... 1) it really was folied in Gmg, 2) did wonderful in tartaros, 3) but got stolen and improved by Jellal's mother-in-law and then cut down by one of series greatest asspull moments.

Voted for White Shadow Dragon's Rough Silk because it's deadly as fuck, cool as fuck, and the only spell that can break Dragneel plot armor. As well as one of my favorite spells in the series if not one of the best spells in the series.

It's easily the most unique Dragon Slayer spell IMO, and that pattern with those colours... yes please!

When Jellal dropped Sema it was pretty awesome. It's hard to remember just how good it was though when we've got Irene squashing that with an improved version... happy to vote for Jelly he's go some great spells (Meteor; Bind Snake; and the one, the only, the legend itself - Abyss Break!!!)
