This list is not as compelling as the female list imo, except for Gajeel. He was my fav DS since the og days and i like the protective pre family man he has become. I enjoyed his screen time in the sequel so he wins here for me.
As for the other one i think i might go with Suzaku since he has potential with the new development of the story. It piqued my interest.
