This is the category to decide on the best male character from a manhwa series. Was there a particular male character which you liked? Maybe due to their unrivalled badassery or funny antics?

Award Format

The event will consist of two phases: a nomination phase and a voting phase. Between those two phases, there will be three days break for administrative reasons.

Nomination Phase (January 19th-28st, 2014): The community makes their nominations in the category threads. If a series has already been nominated before, a member is allowed to support that nomination to build up hype and campaign for that nomination.

Break (January 28st-30th, 2014): Administrative reasons, preparation of the next phase.

Voting Phase (January 30th-February 6th, 2014): A poll is created from all nominations. Every member will be able to campaign for specific series and cast vote(s) to support those series.

Nomination Info - "How to Nominate"

You may nominate up to three (3) series in each category. However, during the nomination phase, you can change your nomination if you want to nominate another title.

For the nomination phase to run smoothly and to avoid situations where nominations weren't counted by accident, please state your nominations clearly. It is preferable to highlight the nominated candidate with bolded red text. Example:

"I nominate Highlander for greatest movie ever." ~ Ricky Bobby

Voting Info - "How to Vote"

Once the nomination round is over and the polls are made, the voting round begins. Please keep in mind that a vote is final. Discuss your opinion and think it through before voting. Choose wisely, because we won't change the votes if you reconsider later on.

Though Baam started to story as a complete innocent with no knowledge of little beyond his simple wish to be reunited with Rachel, with every character he meets and everything he experiences he learns and grows. Going from helpless child to a force to be reckoned with, and along the way, effecting all those around him. He's a character with a big heart that has found a place in all of ours.

I nominate Cadel Etrama Di Raizel. I don't know how the author is managing for us to like the guy.
An almost god-like main character who isn't speaking a lot. Usually, I like those kind of profiles for secondary characters.
And often, such characters are either hated or loved. There aren't many people disliking Rai & that's a feat.

Jae-Kyu Kwon - The Breaker New Waves:
Usually, the old dudes don't make it to my favorite characters. I like most of them, but that's it. However, Jae-Kyu Kwon is totally different. He is like a volcano, once he gets in explosive eruption mode, he becomes a natural disaster in the eyes of his enemies you can't stop. The way he instantly gets rid of over 15 enemies at once is simply classic and a trademark of his now. Even high level antagonists get the fodder treatment.
It was also nice to see how he changed in regards to Shioon and how he supports and respects him nowadays.

Koon Aguero Agnis - Tower of God:
He is strong, a genius, a manipulator, does what's necessary to reach his goals, an asshole from time to time, a protagonist and cares for the people around him. Pretty badass mix to my taste.

Don't know whom I should nominate as my third nomination. Frankenstein (Noblesse), Chun Woo Han or Kang Sung (The Breaker New Waves)? I have to think about it.
