My three nominations:

Jellal Fernandes - his reformed self inspires and excites. Having once been the embodiment of "evil", his current actions now make him such an interesting character to see develop.

Natsu Dragneel - his recklessness and imposing personality always has a way of making you feel better.

Gray Fullbuster - he can be quite the complex character. Gray was just like Ultear was; he too was looking for a place to atone for his sins, a place to take responsibility for his weaknesses, a place to die…Ever since Ur died, Gray blamed himself, he blamed his weakness, and he never forgave himself, but thanks to his journey with Fairy Tail and meeting his father, Gray was finally able to realise what truly matters. Thanks to Silver, Gray was able to escape the nightmares of Deliora haunting him. How Gray chooses to move forward now is an incredibly relevant and interesting part of the manga.

I support:
Natsu Dragneel: The main male protagonist with a fiery temper, Natsu is one of the key characters in Fairy Tail. He has argurably one of the most awesome types of magic in the Flame variant of Dragon Slaying Magic, and he holds his friends close to his heart. Natsu also has inherited both some of Igneel's attitude, power and will of recent times, with killing Acnologia a firm goal of Natsu's in the future. Natsu has grown a lot of recent times, and I think he will continue to grow humongous amounts as the manga continues.

Laxus Dreyar: As g grew up, he only wanted what was best for Fairy Tail, and although his vision became clouded at one point, it is evident now he always has and will value the guild and his friends in there, cherishing every moment he is with them. Laxus is an exemplary Fairy Tail mage, with enough Power and Wisdom to coincide with that. He is a fearsome mage who has room to grow in the future, and I think will definitely grow more as a character in the future.he

Jellal Fernandes: A character who went from good guy to antagonist to protagonist, Jellal is pure in heart with a goal of seeing the world have peace. He assembled his own guild to crush Dark Guilds and other Darkness in the Magic World, and he holds his beliefs and his views highly; a truly dignified character. He is powerful, wise and he is one of the best male characters in Fairy Tail imo in terms of growth and change.
