Tsubaki-chou Lonely Planet. It's easy, it's very cheesy. Everything I look for in a shoujo series. The artwork is pretty nice as well, so that's always a huge bonus imo.

Akagami was alright too, and Skip Beat! was obviously lit. Akatsuki no Yona had it's ups and downs as it tries to sort itself out in this last arc. Imo ofc.

Even beautiful people experience social awkwardness, anxiety, and barriers that keep them from making connections to people plus the fact that what brings them together isn’t their looks, since it’s always hinted that they look average to good.... Wotaku explores their mutual love for things gaming, cosplaying, and manga related that have a stigma against it. Considering that Narumi hides that aspect from her ex-boyfriends who she couldn’t be herself around because she didn’t think they would accept that while Hirotaka doesn’t worry his image, exercising, socializing and prefers to sit at home and game. Sometimes he doesn’t even feed himself properly and passes out. It’s a behavior issue that makes it hard. Plus it has Hanako x Tarou, a super couple that’s relatable and explores the insecurities and romance after dating for a long period of time. Since merely getting love isn’t end game.... you have to maintain it. And that is more uncommon outlook.
