I'm going with Yotsuba&! for cuteness sake. Silver Spoon for general practical-ness. And...Kuragehime for being outrageously over the top.

I nominate Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou for best slice-of-life. I consider this series a master work and the very definition of pure slice-of-life.

I nominate Bakuman. In my eyes, this is the best SoL. With great art and a great story that you don't see everyday, it's a pretty clear choice.

 

[Doraku]

I'm supporting the nomination of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. A classic and truly masterpiece manga that everyone should read. Probably one of the best slice of life out there.

I'm also nominating Minami-Ke. While I need to admit that the anime adaptation is more hilarious, I cannot deny the fact that the manga of Minami-ke is very funny and entertaining as well. This manga serves as a perfect example - at least for me - where you don't need a complex situation to create a good manga.

My third nomination would goes to Genshiken. So relate-able and fun.

I nominate Nodame Cantabile. It has a great cast of interacting characters and admittedly made me appreciate classical music more.
