^ Wow, could've sworn it'd been more than a year since Shape of You started playing everywhere!

For me, 2016 had so many great releases, so I guess it's only natural 2017 isn't quite as good (in my opinion). Still, there have been quite a few. Just can't remember a lot of them now, but here are a few new good ones I've heard in the last month or so.

I feel that 2017 isn't the best year in music. Perhaps I am biased though as a lot of popular music doesn't really attract me - Simply not my music style, no hate.
(That and I must say, I haven't really been keeping myself up to date on new music)

I do want to share these two pearls:

FIrst one is a song by Circa Waves, they released their second album this year. Not a very famous band but I feel with their style they can make it big. Been a fan of them ever since they started making music


Our second pearl is a song by Radiohead. It is not a new song; but it was an unreleased song they recently brought out. I hope it still counts as they made the video for it this year While it is acquired taste to like some of their music, listening to their music makes me happy about the fact that they are still active!

Sorry, guys. The best song of 2017 is definitely start//end by EDEN. Amazing complexity both in music and lyrics, amazing voice and breathing control and sick atmosphere. EDEN's music is like the best college homework helper for me with its chill vibes.


Last time i was feeling something like this was back in 2016 when Crywolf released an album called Cataclasm. There is one song... Anachronism. The atmosphere in it is beyond my understanding. Not to mention the beautiful drop at 5:09.
