I nominate Hisami Touji (Twelve) from Zankyou no Terror. Felt like he really got good character development, making him way more of a complex character than Nine, at the moment.

I'm nominating Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul, particularly for his role in a beautiful finale.

Kaneki Ken (Tokyo Ghoul) won the tiebreak.

Wow, what a dull list of remaining choices. Voted for Kaneki due to his performance in the final episode, but overall, these three didnt really give me the hots during the season. There were much better performing characters out there this summer.

Eh. I wasn't crazy for Kaneki, so my vote went to Jotaro this season as a clear winner out of the trio. Didn't watch Blade Dance, so yeah.

 

[Impossibility]

I think Kaneki's support is based almost entirely on the finale; it was pretty much the main reason I nominated him. He killed the close, and that tends to stand out.

My vote went to Jotaru. Tokyo Ghoul wasn't a great anime, Kaneki an uninteresting lead. I didn't watch Blade Dance.
