Best Supporting Character

This is the category to decide on the best supporting character from a manhwa series. Supporting characters shouldn't be neglected and so they get their very own award. Was there a member of the supporting cast of a series which stood out for you? They may even put the main protagonist(s) to shame. Let us know who you think deserves the award and why!

Award Format

The event will consist of two phases: a nomination phase and a voting phase. Between those two phases, there will be three days break for administrative reasons.

Nomination Phase (January 19th-28st, 2014): The community makes their nominations in the category threads. If a series has already been nominated before, a member is allowed to support that nomination to build up hype and campaign for that nomination.

Break (January 28st-30th, 2014): Administrative reasons, preparation of the next phase.

Voting Phase (January 30th-February 6th, 2014): A poll is created from all nominations. Every member will be able to campaign for specific series and cast vote(s) to support those series.

Nomination Info - "How to Nominate"

You may nominate up to three (3) series in each category. However, during the nomination phase, you can change your nomination if you want to nominate another title.

For the nomination phase to run smoothly and to avoid situations where nominations weren't counted by accident, please state your nominations clearly. It is preferable to highlight the nominated candidate with bolded red text. Example:

"I nominate Highlander for greatest movie ever." ~ Ricky Bobby

Once the nomination round is over and the polls are made, the voting round begins. Please keep in mind that a vote is final. Discuss your opinion and think it through before voting. Choose wisely, because we won't change the votes if you reconsider later on.

Frankenstein

Frankenstein has been the greatest pillar of Noblesse since chapter one. An exceptionally devoted friend and servant of an ancient and power being. He's literally built the world in which the series takes place, going so far as creating a school to create a place where his master could live happily. When something threatens this world a difference side of his personality surfaces. He will fight with overwhelming force joyful sadism that makes his allies wonder who's more evil, him or the actual villains.

Over the months (years), I had many troubles with Breaker new waves. But there is one character who is responsible for me to enjoy the serie & it's an old geezer. I nominate Jae-Kyu Kwon. Fearless, powerful, classy, frightening, respectful ... an absolute beast.

Demon butler, mad scientist, principle of a school that's destroyed every 10 days, master of sadism. What more could you ask for in a supporting character?

Also Rak Wraithraiser from Tower of God

Sometimes all a series really needs is a massive alligator-man to invent new turtle themed nicknames for everybody else in the series. Rak is that alligator-man.

Jae-Kyu Kwon - The Breaker New Waves:
Usually, the old dudes don't make it to my favorite characters. I like most of them, but that's it. However, Jae-Kyu Kwon is totally different. He is like a volcano, once he gets in explosive eruption mode, he becomes a natural disaster in the eyes of his enemies you can't stop. The way he instantly gets rid of over 15 enemies at once is simply classic and a trademark of his now. Even high level antagonists get the fodder treatment.
It was also nice to see how he changed in regards to Shioon and how he supports and respects him nowadays.

Koon Aguero Agnis - Tower of God:
He is strong, a genius, a manipulator, does what's necessary to reach his goals, an asshole from time to time, a protagonist and cares for the people around him. Pretty badass mix to my taste.

Sera Kang - The Breaker New Waves:
She is the real deal in the Murim world. Totally love her personality and attitude. Even Elder Kwon commented on how lucky they were, that she is not their enemy. There is no better praise than this.

In addition to my first nomination, I also support Koon Aguero Agnis who is by far the best support character in ToG. Rak is getting sympathy right now because he is just back. I like him but he is no Koon.
