Gonna add Zamasu from Dragon Ball Super

Instead of Zamasu, I nominate Goku Black. I know they are similar but I don't really consider them the same.

Not a villain but an antagonist, in its literature sense.

In a story, the antagonist (pronounced an-TAG-oh-nist) is the opposite of the protagonist, or main character. Typically, this is a villain of some kind, but not always! It’s just the opponent of the main character, or someone who gets in their way.

Every story has at least one protagonist, but not all stories have an antagonist! In some cases, the protagonist is simply struggling against impersonal forces like nature, circumstance, social strictures, or addiction. In these cases, there is no antagonist in the story. However, a story can have any number of antagonists getting in the protagonist’s way.

also frustration is one of the common emotion that makes a char turning "evil". Plus shes more than "only frustrated" shes a huge manipulator who doessnt hesitate to break anyone for her self-satisfaction, that doesnt mean she doesnt suffer, though,

isnt she the one whos trying her best to destroy a married man while his wife is in a coma.

But agree she s not a vilain intending to annihilate the whole universe :errr

I had a similar discussion a couple of years ago when I nominated Pariston as a "villain" and i remember some were finding this nomination debatable, i think this category should be renamed as "antagonist". an antagonist has not necessary to be a villain char, furthermore the best written"villains" chars are often complex , its even hard to tell some chars are in-between or switch category, a protagonist becoming antagonist or conversely.

Not all antagonists are bent upon evil for the sake of evil. Some simply act in opposition to the main character, creating conflict without a distinct goal of setting the world on fire. This doesn't make The Everyday Antagonist any less of…well, an antagonist. It just sets them apart from the true bad guys of literature.

This type of antagonist usually shows up in more character-driven stories, such as romances and contemporary novels, but they can also appear in stories that break away from their more traditional action-driven genre standards (see: examples below).

The Everyday Antagonist can create conflict in a number of ways, including having the same goal as your story's protagonist (in which only one can succeed), discouraging the main character from pursuing a goal they find dangerous or irresponsible, creating emotional or physical roadblocks that hinder the protagonist, or otherwise stirring up trouble."

In any case, if you or anyone else disagree with the nomination i can remove it , its not as if kyouko has any chance to make it next round, sadly.
