I was carefully optimistic when I heard that there would be a Black Sabbath reunion album and tour with all four original members, but recently it was announced that original drummer Bill Ward will not be involved in this. Apparently, he isn't getting equal compensation as the other three are and he feels that it's a slap in his face professionally.
I'm on the side that although they still stand to make a considerable amount of money, they should all do this album and tour simply because this is probably the last chance for a Black Sabbath album and tour with all four original members.
Tony Iommi was diagnosed with cancer and he is writing and battling the disease at the same time. I presume that it's his artistic duty to finish this album even with a replacement drummer.
