This might strike you as weird and new, but Comic-Con, especially the big ones like San Diego are so overly commercialized, it's hard to find the comics among all the advertisement. I'm not even talking about the few film adaptions and movies advertised there. It's okay to have the big pannels where everyone goes to. But do they really need to hire all those hobby actors with their homemade costumes? And even if they tried, they couldn't find a better way to advertise remedies for pimples and zits. Good thing the comics themselves remain popular enough to be the main show and driving force for the popularity of such events. What are your opions? Have you ever visited one?
