Kadokawa revealed in early March the FREE ComicWalker multi language manga service. This service providing both support for apps and dedicated browser support for pcs will initially provide service to a worldwide audience in languages such as Japanese, English, and Chinese. Launching with an initial offering of 200 titles, it has plans to expand in the future.

Titles will be selected from 23 Kadokawa magazines ranging from Shonen Ace to Young Age. It will also have 50 titles only available in ComicWalker.

Comic Walker debuts on March 22 with translations for 40 selected series. Will you be accessing it?

I'd rather Kadokawa make a light novel app. Legal Dengeki, MF Bunko J, Famitsu, and Fantasia downloads would be fantastic. For manga, it depends on what is initially available. I would have to consider if Non Non Biyori and Railgun were among the 40 titles offered.

At least this is backed by Kadokawa, so I have more faith in it than Mangabox.

Yeah I would be much more excited about it if it did offer light novels support rather than manga. I barely follow any Kadokawa titles and Id rather read the original LNs or watch the animes than read the spinoffs they have for just about everything. Oh well, Ill still look into the service, as perhaps some new series will catch my eye like the Hakkenden series in the Mangabox app did for me for that service.

Kadokawa is a light novel publisher first, manga second. It's only natural they have a better stock of light novels. They do have some interesting manga titles in their catalog. Comic Beam and Harta are very good magazines. Between the various brands they have quite a few good manga. Sakamoto Desu ga?, Bride's Story, D-Frag, Railgun, Tokyo ESP, and Yotsuba& are all Kadokawa manga. Their catalog can be hit or miss, with too many light novel and anime adaptions, but there are a lot of good titles they could add.

Good, it's available in my country! :D

Non Non Biyori, Haganai, Kagerou Days (Daze?) and Log Horizon interest me the most from the list. I should take advantage of it and begin to read them. :D

Love Live!, Angel Beats! ~Heaven's Door~, and Ro-Kyu-Bu! were also added. I think they must be just going one magazine at a time, since yesterday's were from Young Ace and now we've got Dengeki G's. Pity we didn't get anything from Maoh when that was added in Japanese, I'd have loved to see Murabito A.

Comic Walker is the best! :zomg

There is time to release all the series bit by bit. What's important is that they're doing a great job.

Oh nice, I had started Angel Beats back in the day but never kept up with it. Surprised they added three chapters and will do the fourth later this week.

Menacing DOG's -Another Secret- (a spin-off of Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu) has been added in English. Still not sure how they decide how frequently to update things, since this one already has two chapters and chapter 3 is coming up this week.

The rankings seem active now, odd that the english side stuff is only in the 2K range while JPN side is in the 20K. I hope more english folks view the site so they can keep going.

Anyway not surprised at number 1, but Non non biyori for the monthly in english?!

Looks like they removed Log Horizon, anyone know why?

Maybe not popular enough? Could also explain why there are virtually no updates beyond the first chapter.

@shark Mosaic Roll is not in the first post right now. Maybe that replaced Log Horizon.

They're doing a monthly schedule for pretty much all the series, so barely anything is past the first chapter, sadly. On another note, both Accel World and Sword Art Online: Fairy Dance have been added in English.
