Erza had Irene's Enchantment to fight against Irene herself

There have been many claims that Erza fighting against Irene was just her power, however, what some people needs to know of how it really went down.

(NOTE: I will be sticking strictly to Manga as Anime is usually seen as inconsistent or not all the time canon, usually they are Animators iterations of said adaptations or made to look "pretty", they can conflict or be debunked by what is shown in the manga)

As we know, Irene transferred her persona into Wendy's body, and later revealed that Wendy did the same in order to survive. And just when Erza was about to perish, Wendy in Irene's body saved her with using Irene's enchantment to strengthen her.

Now some may say that was Wendy who did that, yes, her persona did that, not Wendy's body which is the source of her magic, it was Irene's body with her magic, They don't exchange magics or magic power for a few facts:

1. Magic is stated to be part of one's body, even after death the magic still remains in their body, which means that learning magic makes it part of the individual, not some mental power solely.
2. Irene stated when entering Wendy's body her powers/abilities drastically reduced, but Wendy's potential is big, meaning that she has been using Wendy's power the entire time.
3. Irene when inside Wendy's body during her fight with Haku helped Wendy achieve her potential to help fight against the DDK, though Irene helped with a Multiple Personality Enchantment, she stated that it was Wendy's magic, not Irene's, nothing about magic power, just her magic. This shows that any sort of showings of magic Irene used while in Wendy's body is definitely Wendy's, and to confirm that this is her potential is that she could fly both times with her Sky Magic.
4. The only time when they can exchange magic/magic power is when one uses the Residual Thought Enchantment which lets Wendy use Irene's powers, which included the Separation Enchantment, something Wendy did not know how to use with her own body and powers, despite having used Irene's power with RTE or when she possessed Irene's body and needed to be taught.

These pieces of evidence goes to show that Erza definitely had Irene's enchantment empowering her in her fight with Irene, thanks to Wendy's efforts.

Deus Corona was Wendy's enchantment. Wendy has been using the spell since the GMG arc, years before meeting Irene. Irene has canonically never used the spell, and Wendy had to explain to Irene what it does.
Since deus corona was Wendy's spell, it is tied to Wendy's focus. It would have lost effect when Wendy went back to her own body and lost consciousness. Erza fought Irene by herself until Wendy woke back up toenchant her katana.

The whole idea that you lose access to your original magic when you transfer bodies is just demonstrably false, and we can easily see it when Irene was able to enchant Erza's armours into exploding. This is not Wendy's magic. It's Irene's.

When you cast personality enchantment, you transfer your soul to the host body and take with you a portion of your MP. Souls carry with them magic power. Think of when Natsu's soul used thought projection to create a body. Natsu is casting that spell as a soul after Wraith had already extracted it from his body. Wendy would be able to use her own magic in Irene's body (and vice versa) merely for the fact that her soul carries some her own magic power.

Moreover, the spells you know arent intrinsically linked to your MP in the first place. You still have access to your own spells so long as the host body has the MP required to cast it. Irene used up all the MP she brought inside Wendy's body to cast the separation enchantment to beat Nebal. Irene used Wendy's MP to cast personality enchantments against Haku. And yes, it does say magic power:

A residual thought enchantment is nothing more than re-accessing the memories and magic power from a previous personality enchantment. This has nothing to do with Irene's ability to cast separation enchantment as a personality enchantment. Irene specifically stated that she (Not Wendy, who later used it on Faris) is out of MP after the fight. Moreover, Wendy and Irene didnt swap magic. Wendy didnt know how to use a separation enchantment, so Irene had to teach her how to do it. Residual Thought Enchantment didnt allow Wendy to use spells only Irene knew. It gave Wendy access to the MP Irene left inside her body.

Finally, even if Deus Corona was still active after Wendy returned to her body and fell unconscious, it still did nothing. Whatever boost deus corona gave, it wasnt strong enough to stop Irene from smashing her sword and breaking all her bones. What gave Erza the strength to smash the meteor and defeat Irene's dragon form was power of emotion. It's not even subtle. Erza connected hearts with Makarov, and was literally shouting "Master give me strength!!" as she was attacking. To pretend that the strength to break the meteor didnt come from this blatant display of POF, but instead from Irene herself when Wendy stole her body is nothing short of pure nonsense.

Ax, Nothing states that it is something exclusive to Wendy, plus Irene is a master enchanter, leagues above what average Wendy could do. Irene herself may not have shown it but Wendy did with Irene’s body and magic does not carry over, she only explained because it was a plot twist by surprise, Irene explained Deus Zero, doesn’t mean anything. It is not since magic doesn’t transfer to the other’s bodies, it is tied to their bodies. It doesn’t since it comes from Irene’s magic, she said that herself, she fought with Irene’s enchantments empowering her. Irene stated that as Wendy her magic abilities are reduced, however Wendy is surprisingly strong with her potential released by Irene, as in magic that Wendy has not tapped into, we never seen Irene explode armor before so it is Wendy’s magic. Nothing states that with personality enchantment, you can only access the respective persona’s powers with residual thought enchantment, they are not souls though, they are personas as Selene stated “it is like” not “is”, there is clear difference here. If it was an actual soul, then they would have all of their original power regardless of the body, not just a portion, as Franmalth puts with souls are the real thing. Besides the whole point of her using Personality Enchantment is to rid herself of what she had for a normal body, hence why her powers and abilities who be reduced. Again, that was when Wendy cast Residual Thought enchantment that allowed Irene’s actual magic to be used, you can’t use it unless you have access to it. and that was Wendy’s magic too. It does, because the spell belonged to Irene and Wendy did not have access to it in any iteration of herself, besides using Irene’s personality via RT and her body. No, Irene’s personality enchantment makes it clear she wants nothing to do with her body, she even considers it nothing more than a lump of meat as she is glad to be rid of it. That is not the point, she had the power up still as it is what helped her to stay alive and she used more power ups later on, and even then that still did not put Irene down. Also for the translation part, that might support your case if the official translations did not have final say by both Hiro, Kodansha and Ueta in what it intends, which is just magic or magic abilities. Also, it can mean "Charm", "Witchcraft" or "Spell", plus when using a translator it doesn’t say magic power, it just says magic. And even if personas can use their magic while in different bodies, it wouldn’t matter as it is still Irene’s magic power and Irene never lost consciousness so it is still active, even when Irene’s body was comatose, enchantments are still in place via U1.

It wears off if the user intentionally intends to or if stated otherwise. Besides, it is stated that they don’t exchange magics, they even said that they would lose the abilities they would have from their original bodies. So that means Irene has Deus Corona, and that it belongs to Irene in the first place, no but it is what saved her life, even without it, Erza was getting wrecked by Irene in Wendy’s body. Erza + Irene’s Enchantment + PoF + DS magic is pretty OP. Irene still won in the end, this is Erza who could take the power of the entire guild’s strongest wizards and she still lost.
