Misc Attempt First Clean ever done opinions and suggestions please!

Here is my first ever work done in cleaning i have no idea how to proceed or what i hav done wrong so please correct me!

You need a high-res raw if you want to do decent cleaning, for magazine raws that's at least 2200px, most common are 3000+px raws. Try again with those, since the result you got with this below 1000px raw is horrible, which wasn't your fault however.

Sure, google for "Rena Chan" to get to her website, I think that was her raw, only resized.

yes indeed that was her raw .....But i would like to ask ,for a raw like that the work i did on was correct?

There's no such thing as correct work, especially not with this kind of raw, can't judge on your result at all.

So much dirt left over, and that grey texture on the guy's face was just fine. What did you do to it to turn it into that weird plaid-like thing?

More manual cleaning, less automatic cleaning. Either that or go full-out with the filtering and bulldoze it completely into mush. This half-hearted result needs a little more work.
