Misc Attempt First try on cleaning

I'm new and this is my first time cleaning so what do you guys think

congrats on your 1st try. however, you can still improve the quality by sticking to the philosophy : make the white, white and the black, black. try to level the white more, and burn/brush those white specks inside the black area.

not bad! try to level more the whites like bobrianto said and use the burn tool to burn the blacks (look at this tutorial: http://senbonzakura.kageyoshi.net/2008/01/11/inking-for-speed-scans-burn-tool/ )
and the dodge tool for the whites

CTL L. level it until you feel u are making it to stuffed. invert all colours just dodging the whites doesnt give the same affect as burning the inverted colours. follow some tutuoriels
litterelly a 2 second try just to show you what i mean

Yes, I agree with progste; you kind of overdid it. But, yeah, generally you could have leveled it a tiny bit more and you could have removed some of the specks.
