Rimuru Tempest, also known in his previous incarnation as the Salary man Satoru Mikami, is just a Slime who lives in the Great Forest of Jura.

Rimuru was formerly an ordinary human man leading up to his death at the hands of a robber's blade, followed my his immediate and mysterious reincarnation in another world. Reincarnated as a simple slime, Rimuru happens to posses all powerful and godlike magic/abilities. From the very moment he was introduced to the new world, Rimuru was far above his fellow Monsters and all other races. In a world where monsters are nameless and looked down upon by the other races, this simple slime takes it upon himself to provide shelter to the monsters of the forest, meeting lifelong allies and friends along the way.
Rimuru is a man that oozes benevolence for all those around him. Even enemies. As an all-powerful being, he is not one to act irrationally, only with curiosity. While I would love to tell you all about what he does, we're here today to see how he is the ultimate Husbando. Strap in, because here's why.
Personality
Rimuru, in the most simple of terms, holds no hate within his heart. From giving names and identities to the monsters under his wing, he is even willing to make friends with those perceived to be his enemies. Rimuru made friends with Milim, the oldest and mightiest of the Demon Lords for god sake
The phrase "Absolute power corrupts absolutely" simply doesn't apply to Rimuru. As mentioned earlier, his benevolence always forces his hand when it comes to helping others, making them feel safe, happy and loved, such as when he gave names to the last survivors of the Ogres, the Goblins, the Orcs and even the most infamous True Dragon on the continent.
Appearance
The beauty of having the ability to shape shift is that Rimuru will always be pleasing to the eye for whomever seeks his heart. His preferred human form is reminiscent of his fellow other-worlder, the legendary hero Shizue, and is generally without genitalia. This can all change on his whims, of course. Do you like large muscly men? Tall and graceful? Short and steadfast? Chunky?? Rimuru can give you anything that you desire.

Ok, so he also happens to be a badass a lot of the time. Did I forget to tell you that? Rimuru has tamed a great Storm Dragon of the land, Veldora. He has defeated the Orc Disaster and his armies, taken on Demon Lords head on, and even toppled the Fire Demon, Ifrit. A Husbando should always have the bite to back up his bark, and Rimuru soundly delivers.
In summary, Rimuru Tempest is simply the ultimate Husbando. He can take any form you as a lover desires. He holds kindness in his heart and the power to protect that which he loves. Vote Slime forPresident #1 Husbando!

A bit of Background
Hatori Sohma is a member of the cursed Sohma family of the Manga/Anime Fruits Basket. The family has members that embody and are possessed by the 12 animals of the Chinese Zodiac. They turn into their respective animals when held by a member of the opposite gender, when they are weak, under stress or embarrassed. Hatori is the Dragon, but because the curse has been in the family for so long, the effects have weakened a bit and he turns into seahorse instead.
Hatori grew up with his two best friends Ayame and Shigure Sohma. They went through school together from Elementary to High School. Together the 3 of them were known as the “Mabudachi Trio” or The Three Musketeers.
Even at a young age Hatori was seen as the most serious and mature of the three, often keeping the other two out of trouble, especially when they joined the student council. Ayame was the President but was always quick to point out Hatori was more suited to the role because of how he presented himself. His respect for Hatori was so great it’s known that Hatori is the only person who can order Ayame around and be obeyed without question. There have been a few instances when Ayame has gotten himself into trouble only to be saved by Hatori. Once during a class trip, several of their classmates were caught visiting the red light district. Ayame defended their actions by saying it’s only human nature and proposed that the student body should direct their carnal desires at him instead. Shigure notes that it was Hatori's intervention that kept their classmates from being expelled and allowed Ayame to continue as class president.
Hatori has a unique ability among his family known as the memory erasing technique. This is more linked to hypnosis than an actual magic technique. It allows him to wipe the memory of anyone who learns of the family’s curse. This made him not so popular with certain members of his family like Yuki for example. Once when Yuki was younger and playing with his friends he accidentally ran into a little girl and transformed in front of them. This forced Hatori to erase Yuki from the memories of his friends, and because they were his first friends, Yuki has resented and mistrusted Hatori ever since. It’s sad because Hatori was only protecting their family from people who no doubt would have trouble understanding what they are. This was only one instance and Hatori was in high school at that time. Throughout the years he would be called on to perform this technique on various persons, some of them even members of his own family. Because he's the only one capable of using this technique he is feared and sometimes even outright hated. Ironically the one to suffer most from the usage of this technique is Hatori himself. But more on that later.
The Memory Erasing Technique can be seen as hereditary considering his father had it before him. He didn't have a very warm home life; which is, perhaps, the cause of his stoic personality. His mother died of an illness when he was in elementary school and his father died of an illness as well when he was in high school, so Hatori has been on his own for a while. Akito, the head of the Sohma family, goes as far as to call Hatori cold, comparing him to snow because of how he carries himself. Some people consider him scary because he has been shown to take everything seriously, lacking any sort of humor. This isn’t true however, because Hatori actually cares about people very much. I will explain more about him and why he deserves your votes for Husbando in later posts.

To be precise, like his father before him he is the Sohma Family physician. His responsibility is to see to the welfare of the large Sohma family, especially Akito the current head. He takes his responsibilities very seriously to the point where he showed up at Yuki’s school to give him a check up for his asthma because Yuki had missed his appointment. This might seem a bit embarrassing especially from Yuki’s pov but this just shows Hatori cares about the well being of those under his care. Also when Tohru caught the flu Hatori showed up at the house to make sure she was really ok and being looked after properly. He likes to joke that even though his patients are limited to his family that he’s still overworked.
Despite this, Hatori never turns anyone away and will work himself tirelessly to look after you. It’s nice to have someone that dedicated taking care of you

Hatori/Kana
Hatori met Kana when she came to work for him as his assistant. She was a pretty, cheerful, kind girl with a heart big enough to see past Hatori’s stoic exterior. Kana liked Hatori from the start but noticed he was aloof no matter how hard she tried to get close to him.
She didn’t give up though, and while he did have feelings for her he still didn’t allow himself to get close. One day he transformed into his Zodiac form and she realized why he never allowed anyone, including her, to get close. But instead of rejecting him she accepted him wholeheartedly for who and what he was.
After that, they were inseparable. For the first time in his life Hatori found someone to love and to love him in return. Everything was perfect for them to the point that they decided to get married. Now the only thing left was for them to tell the family head, Akito, of their decision. When they got to the main house Hatori respectfully told Akito of their decision and asked for his blessing. Akito flew into a rage instead. He smashed a vase into Hatori's eye, almost blinding him in the process. After seeing the damage done Akito turned on Kana and blamed her for what happened to Hatori, telling her she didn't belong there.
Although the relationship did not end right away, Kana believed Akito's words that what happened to Hatori was her fault. She broke down in tears often and harbored the guilt until she made herself sick. Hatori could not stand to see Kana hurting herself that way so he did the only thing he could do to help her and that was to use the Memory Erasing Technique to make her forget about him and their relationship.
If their love was hurting her, Hatori preferred that she not suffer for it. As painful as it was to lose something he never thought he would have, he still chose to free her from the burden of loving him. So even though members of his family fear/hate him for his ability, the one to ultimately suffer the most from it was Hatori himself
After losing her, Hatori once again became distant, having to bear his pain alone. He didn't want anyone else to suffer the way he did, so he became even more vigilant in protecting the members of his family. But we know Hatori is capable of love, and a lot happened after his relationship with Kana ended to show us a glimpse of the man he became with her.
