I have decided to make a Anime-Thread for the new Anime of HxH, which will be started in fall.

So, here is some confirmed information about the new HxH-Anime:

HXH anime on Nippon Television.

Here is some "questions" about the anime, which we should get new information this week:

- It is a remake of the old TV-Series ? *confirmed*
- it is a continuation from the OVAs ? *busted*
- Who will be in the anime-stuff of HxH-Anime ? ( probably confirmed already, s. o. ) *busted*

The first new Information about new HxH-Anime !!!

According to Mainichi, the new Hunter x Hunter anime will start on October 2nd. Madhouse Studios will remake it from the beginning of the manga. The production staff and the voice cast are renewed. Nihon TV prepared a new programming block for the new anime at 10:55 am on Sundays.

I've always been of the crowd Pitou's a guy. Togashi likes to make a lot of androgynous characters after all... Kurapika and Illumi have very feminine exteriors but are males

We'll see for sure though once the Royal Guards get introduced with official subs

Togashi frankly doesn't care about gender at all. In fact he often challenges the notion. Often instinctively we feel bad/digust to see a woman attacked or injured, it is just human nature and instinct that women and children should be protected. Togashi doesn't want us to feel this so he challenges it. Why does gender matter? Well it really doesn't. A person isn't who they are because of what's between their legs, it's what is in their heart and their head.

Thoughts about the Royal Guards Color Palettes in relation to the Queen http://www.ntv.co.jp/hunterhunter/character/kimera.html

I was a little surprised at first with Youpi's color and how it contrasts so much against his brothers but on the link showing all of them together it clicked for me. Youpi is the only one of the Royal Guards whose genetic material is Ant/Magical Beast unlike the other two who are Ant/Human. Because of Youpi's nature he closely resembles the Ant Queen more in his attitude(selflessness to the King only, animalistic behavior) and exterior(same color as the Queen). As for the other two, they are much more "human" characters with how they think/act and the obvious appearance differences

To be frank. I knew Pitou was a boy the whole time. Females in Togashi's world only appear for one thing. Romance. Once that is out of the picture. they're gone. Not counting Bisuke. o-o She's the manliest among women. Keiko from YYH served her purpose as Yusuke's girlfriend. Palm.... Well we all know what Palm did... -shudders-

Extending on that, I like the choice of color for Pitou, Pufu, and Colt. Light pink, icy pale blue/purple, and the kind of gold of Colt. They are all just slightly off-human, like an uncanny valley of color, but it represents their closeness to humanity.

And the red of Youpi, along with your analysis, just making him look demonic, which fits the sort of emotions I think he is initially supposed to elicit - fear.

Also, does anyone know how to pronounce Shaiapouf's name? Is it like Shia LeBouf, cause that's honestly what I have been calling him.

Ponzu and Pokkle got some ship tease in 99 anime,maybe it's the reason why Togashi chose to let them together.And Komugi was not here only for romance,it is not as if the Ant arc was a love story.
