Discussion If you could have relationships IRL with DGM characters...

Who would you pick, and to what roles would you assign them to? : D
You know, if somehow they could be magically plucked and duplicated from the manga into real 3D flesh.
(Or as a 4-dimensional being, if that's, you know, your thing. I won't judge.)
Can be lovers or to be friends with. Or be quasiplatonic life partners with. Or to have as your dom--uhh.... I mean domestic..house.mate.....yea. Or have as a housecat. Or anything, really.

Here's the catch:
You can't be lovers with Kanda. (Because he's too obvious a choice.)
Lavi will always be the annoying neighbourhood NEET. (blame Allen) (on second thought, this is optional lol)
Also, no matter what you choose, Cross has to be your dad. Or Daddy if you pick him as, y'no. idk.

I'd like to be friend with Lavi or Nea. Lavi might be annoying sometime but that's what makes him nice.

I can't really say about Nea. I just think if we were friends, we'd do a lot of interesting (and dangerous) stuff together

That's sure to be a lovely and healthy household to live in! Very respectable. Not in the least bit hazardous or mentally scarring.
Allen will have really loud arguments on the roof with the guy 2 houses over (definitely Kanda), yelling profanities and insults at each other at 2AM in the morning and it'll be great.
I would invite Lavi over to play games (Undertale, and if Kanda and Allen are there too, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes)...
Miranda would be my fav aunt.
I would probably bully Kanda relentlessly for the lulz. Because it is extremely fun to do. I may also have a deathwish.
Also, if I could have Lulubell as an indoor panther, that would be extremely star-rattling rad.

I've actually been thinking about this for a while so....
For me, Cross is definitely an uncle. A high-functioning alcoholic of an uncle. Sheryl could be the other uncle, the one I actively hide from, because he'd be the most annoying family member ever, omg. He strikes me as someone who is always in everyone's business. As for a father figure, I would definitely have to go with Tiedoll. Lverrier if I want an angsty back story, lol.

Hands down, Alma would be my BFF. Probably also get along well with Allen, Timothy and Lavi, thought I don't trust the latter much. Wisely is a really cool guy, but his abilities give him sort of an arrogant air lol. But as long is he doesn't look into my head, it should be fine. Because if he does, he'll find out exactly what I think of Nea and Mana.
I'd want to start some sort of handicraft club with Miranda though, she's such a well-meaning sweetheart! Also, I'll be doing my absolute best to set her up with Marie.

I guess picking Tiedoll as my father means I'm "related" to Kanda, but frankly I feel like Johnny could be my brother instead and Lenalee a sister. Kanda is the cousin whose toes I would enjoy stepping on at every opportunity.

Most of the Noah family is like extended family. Though if Sheryl is an uncle, I guess that makes Tyki one too. Road is my partner in crime when I'm feeling particularly
Jasdevi are cool, but they definitely have their own thing going on. For a Noah of Bonds, I feel like the only people they would relate to is themselves.

Don't know much about the rest. I'm terrified of the suit!Earl, but I really feel like human!Earl would be a sweetie (all things considered).

I don't think I could choose anybody from the series to date. By your description I'd probably be closest to Allen and Lavi as friends. (But if Tiedoll was my father then I could have Kanda, Marie, and maybe Daisya as siblings and that would be beyond hilarious...) Miranda and Lenalee would be great to do hobbies with (including anything from crafts to outdoor sports). Krory and Eliade would be a friendly new neighbourhood couple. Noahs would be Allen's extended family so I'd gradually meet them through him.

You can bet I'd be trying to fix certain people up with each other, and I'd be just in the right position to do it too. :P

I don't think Tiedoll is particularly smothering. I think it only seems that way because he's always worried about Kanda. Marie doesn't seem to be bothered/be affected in the same way. So I think that as long as I don't walk around with a constipated expression like Kanda does (Tiedoll's words, not mine), he would just be a loving, supportive father with a passion for art.

It's funny how here, everyone skipped the "Cross is mandatory dad" condition, but on tumblr, pretty much every person was either "hell yeah" or "that's swell" about having Cross as their dad. Apparently we over there are all his kids now.
Also, it has occurred to me that some people, especially off certain god forsaken sites, don't know the difference between "dad/daddy" and "Daddy". /giggles. Stay innocent, fellows.

Then I started wailing about how Cross must've slept around a crap ton to make that the case, and then ended up joking that he was a sperm donor. (tumblr)

Cross would be dad problematic of Allen (split personality problem Allen / Nea product of the abuse of it.) Maria, the mother runaway.
Kanda would be the bully of the neighborhood and his partner, Lavi.
Miranda would be my twin sister and Marie and her boyfriend.
Krory the weird, scary, elusive child.
Jhonny, the nerd, fond of computers, RPGs, etc who rarely leaves home.
The Noe family. The Posh. And Tikki, the rebel uncle who embarrasses everyone.
My relationship with them? It would therefore difficult. xD
I would do what they wanted.
My natural instinct is to be a nerd, so I get along with Johnny, we would buy games and spend part of my free time losing money in MineCraft xD mediating fights between Allen and Kanda, Allen taking therapy xD

^Oh, I feel the same way though I view him more like a younger brother, whom I can keep an eye on and whatnot. Lenalee has a big sister type of feel for me due to her personality.
